Rooms - Upon check-in I was upgraded to one of the newer King rooms. Although you can tell the hotel cut some corners on the renovations, like keeping some of the old furniture, the room was adequate and had a lovely kitchenette. Pool - Nice large indoor pool and small hot tub. Parking - The concerns mentioned about parking are valid, although I think this would apply to any hotel in the downtown area. It is not a secure lot, and there are lots of signs stating not to leave any valuables in your vehicle. My rate included parking, so I do understand the frustration if you are being ask to pay $20+ for unsecured parking in a sketchy area. Breakfast - I was expecting a basic continental breakfast with my Diamond status, but was pleasantly surprised with a fantastic offering! We had the choice of eating off the regular menu or the having the buffet (it was a Sunday). Both the food and service were great. I would consider this an average Doubletree property... but the excellent breakfast will make me a repeat customer..
