This hotel is super clean and the staff is amazing from the front desk to the breakfast stuff and the cleaning staff. They make you feel welcome and the hotel is very cozy with extremely comfortable rooms. To top it all off the location is absolutely fantastic only kilometers away from the downtown and many amenities and restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and so should you. Well done.

Excellent Stay with Great Service! I had an outstanding stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingston Central. The location is very convenient, just a short drive from downtown Kingston and close to shopping centers, restaurants, and major highways. It was the perfect base for exploring the city and the surrounding area. The room was spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the suite had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a fridge and microwave. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was great for getting some work done. The staff really made the stay special – everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to help. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the complimentary breakfast. There was a great selection of hot and cold options, including fresh pancakes, eggs, and pastries, which really set me up for the day. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool and fitness center, which were well-maintained and a great way to relax after a busy day. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingston Central to anyone visiting the area. Great value, comfortable rooms, and exceptional service – I’ll definitely be staying here again!

“Nice hotel with convenient location”

This hotel is nice and clean, and met all of our expectations. Bed, linen and towels were all of good quality and comfortable. Front desk service was excellent. The breakfast menu and quality of coffee could be somewhat improved. The location is very convenient. A good value overall.

Stayed in Kingston with my sister for a week. The goal was to revisit some of the places we had not visited since our school days; Fort Henry, Kingston Penitentiary and 1000 Islands. Overall the Holiday Inn Express was good. Check- in was quick. The room overall was large and beds were comfortable, with a variety of pillow types to choose from. The hotel is close to the 401, located across the street from a large Shoppers Drug Mart, and surrounded by many of the large chain restaurants. The breakfast was average. Avoid the baked goods, they are of poor quality. Stick to the cereals, eggs, bacon. We ended up having breakfast at other locations because, for vacationers, the cut-off time from breakfast is too early. Areas for improvement: (1) In building the hotel, someone really went cheap on the installation of the ceramic tiles. With the exemption of the lobby, I noted many cracks and un-even tiles. This was especially noticeable in the bathroom . Cleaning of bathroom grout and areas under the sink was also neglected. (2) Customer Service can be improved upon, they are the frontline of the business. One day, after being out all day, we returned to a room that had not been cleaned. When we spoke to the front desk, they immediately said we were to blame. Saying that we must have placed the sign on the door requested that the room not be cleaned. We did not, and just to make sure we quickly checked the door after realizing the room was not cleaned. (We always want our room cleaned.) To give the short version of this incident, the front desk staff were slow in getting someone back to clean the room, they were rude or unresponsive when we asked when the cleaning would be done. To add insult to injury, the woman at the front desk (Madison, I believe her name was) deliberately held off on telling us we could return to our room ( long after it had been cleaned , we later found out. We were waiting in the lobby for her to tell us when it was ok for us to go back to the room). So thumbs down to Madison and one of the other worker, Andreas (spelling may not be correct) whose customer relations kills need improvement. The incident left a bad taste on what would have been a pleasant stay in the hotel otherwise.
