The Thompson was my mid-point hotel on my Rocky Mountaineer train journey to Vancouver. The hotel received us late in the evening and direct access to my room was granted for the overnight stay. “Very clean comfortable hotel”
We stayed overnight here during our rocky mountaineer trip. ( just somewhere to rest your head after very long day on the train ) clean, comfortable bed, good shower. Room air conditioner worked well, tea facilities in room. Good place to stay if you are stopping off at Kamloops,

“Need some updating, but otherwise a good place to stay”
