The hotel is clean, grounds are clean and nice. Room was clean and in excellent condition, bed was comfy and the pillows are the best. Restaurant was average. Pool area looked clean even though we didn't use it. My biggest downfall is that there seems to be people living there on a monthly basis which may discourage me too stay again. I can see the hotel going downhill in the future from this.

We booked two whirlpool king rooms for one night, July 6, 2024. I was annoyed that they added the hold of $100. into the room charge, rather than separately. We appreciated the bottled water as a top tier member. Our rooms were clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were comfy. Lots of towels in the bathroom. I was disappointed that no body lotion was offered with the bath supplies. The whirlpool worked well and was very relaxing after our long journey. We slept well in our king bed. Free buffet breakfast was at Myra's bar & grill located on the property. Pancakes, home fries, baked beans, bacon, sausages, bananas, canned fruit salad, cereals and scrambled eggs. However, the eggs were dry and rubbery. Coffee, teat and juices. Over all very good breakfast. We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western property.

This hotel was a convenient option for my stay in Brantford for a four-day conference. I had a king-bed room that was spacious and clean. It included a desk with office chair, full-sized sofa, microwave and fridge. What it didn't have was a spacious bathroom. The bathroom door would not open fully because of the curved shower curtain blocking the space. In order to enter the bathroom AND close the door, I had to cozy up to the toilet. This was highly annoying and unpleasant. Because of my arthritis, I needed the elevator to comfortably reach the second floor, but my room was as far from the elevator as it could possibly be. In this hotel, that's a long distance away. It felt like I was walking to the next province. I ended up choosing to struggle with the stairs close to my room and actually drove my car each morning to the front of the hotel to reach the breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast, the buffet is adequate, but the "hot" food was consistently cold. Bacon, sausages, eggs, french toast ... whatever I chose was cold. In addition, although the pool area was very attractive, the large "hot" tub was only warm. Another disappointment. Would I return? Perhaps, but not with high expectations.
