I didn't like that people don't listen to the sign when it says Adults Only in private hot pool 7 - 10 PM. Duh!

“A Very Good Hot Springs!”

I've been to hot springs/resorts from B.C. to Costa Rica and would rate this place in my top three. A quick breakdown is below, please note that I visited in the off-season (early November 2024) so high-season may be different. Every staff person I interacted with was very, very good; friendly and professional. The Pools: The main pools are very nice, well-maintained and have pleasent temperatures. The locker rooms are clean, new and nice. A down-vote, however, for the men's locker room having had the suit spinner removed and never replaced. My only complaint on the main pool is that the lights at night are extremely bright. There is a separate adult hot pool closer to the hotel. The Grounds/Hotel: The grounds were very nicely maintained and well-lit at night, but not obnoxiously (except for the main pool.) There are multiple hiking trails on the property. Make sure to check out the old bathouse on the hill above the main parking lot (keep in mind that what is wet might be slick.) I can't speak to the main hotel as I stayed in the lower dog-room hotel in a kitchenette (sink, two-burner stove, mini-fridge, microwave.) Those rooms are pretty dark (think 1970's wood everywhere) but were clean and had a nice view of the lawn. The Food: Meh. I had two suppers in the bar (other restaurants were closed for supper/off-season.) The fish and chips was fries and a piece of fish that was cooked well, but was low quality (mushy inside.) The poutine first came out with unmelted/ literally cold cheese curds. When I politely asked for it to be heated, it came back with the curds melted to the size and consistenty of pieces of play-dough. I heard the breakfast wasn't much better. There is a pizza joint down below that does OK, and that's what I ate the rest of the time. Pro-Tips: If you stay in the dog hotel, there is no ice machine, so bring a cooler to store ice. There are mule deer who live around the resort, so always have your dog on a leash. There is also a goat that lives in a pickup. The strip mall down below (on the highway) can meet your needs from groceries to liquour to pizza, ice cream and cannabis. The campground has 270+ spots and staff told me that when it is all full, it's like being at Disneyland. I liked this hot springs well enough that I will be back in October to golf.

“Celebration Getaway”

“Anniversary get away”

We love this resort. It has a relaxed vibe. The beds are comfortable and there are big windows that open. Staff are friendly.
