“A nice stay.”

Nice one night stay. We had 2 queen beds. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean but smelled of smoking. Nice continental breakfast. “Wi-Fi issue”

The pool was heated, and the continental was ok. Wi-Fi was a big issue. And the room was not what we reserved.

“Solid Meh”

Yes, guests at Travelodge By Wyndham Calgary South have highlighted that: Short version: Three adults, myself and my parents, stayed Sunday night Monster Jam weekend (15 Sept 2024). Friendly, courteous staff. Nothing outstanding, but met expectations. Great location. Would stay again. Long version: There is a pool, but we were only staying one night so we didn't use it. Continental breakfast (6:30-9:30am) was as expected. There was a waffle maker, but no instructions so I didn't know it was supposed to beep until someone used it after me. Beds were comfy and rooms were pretty clean (dust build-up on the bathroom vents. The two pop-up outlets on the desk (nearest the door) didn't work, but the other desk outlet and the two on the lamp worked. We were able to get extra towels and pillows from front desk easily enough. It would have been nice to have had enough towels for three people in the room already (as indicated on our reservation). It was nice that the exterior (to the parking lot) and interior (to the hallway) doors had a deadbolt and chain for security. It is an older building but seems to be maintained well enough. Common areas were clean. The beds, as with the room and building, were aged, but comfortable. The room came with microwave, mini-fridge (no freezer), coffee maker, TV, ipod music dock (we don't have apple so didn't use). There was sweet and low available from the front, but not in the room. Certainly not a high-end stay, but a great place for those seeking to rest their heads. We would stay again. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.
