“Nice and cozy”
The hotel staff were very nice. They checked on us via a text each day. We had the King studio and it was really cozy. The location is excellent a short walk from the downtown area. It is also right by the local bus route so you can get to all the things easily. The restaurant was great also.

“Picturesque location, minutes to downtown”
A fantastic elevated location in Banff! I didn't rent a car and was amazed at the transit system and ease of use. The stop is steps from the lodge, which takes you to downtown Banff in 7 minutes. From there I caught a bus to Lake Louise, which was 40 minutes away, for $20 CDN for the return trip.… more

“Buffalo Mountain lodge was beautiful….quiet and relaxing. Just what we needed.”
Great time to visit Banff. Not too busy and they have the Taste for Adventure dining event going on allowing you to try different restaurants. Roads in and around town were quiet which was nice. Buffalo Mountain Lodge was beautiful. Just what we wanted.

“Cozy Cabins and Wonderful food”
The room was a tranquil getaway, situated away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Banff. The beautifully renovated bathroom was a highlight with the large tub. “Good stay at Buffalo Mountain Lodge”
Worth staying for the location, views and comfortable rooms. Note…keep away from rooms by the stairs, since they are very noisy. Also, avoid the poorly prepared burgers at The Prow Restaurant. Excellent Front Desk and Room Attendants. Overall enjoyed stay and will return.
