Handsdown, this would be one of the best properties that Ban FF has to offer. Right from its location directly in the centre of the town to its cozy interiors of the reception and the rooms, one can’t help, but feel being transported to a slightly older era where in all houses were made of logs (but of course with all the comforts and the amenities of today) with the balcony opening up directly on Bass Avenue and Beri Street views are uninterrupted. The front desktop is extremely helpful, polite, and courteous, and were a great help in suggesting local tours and hikes that as a solo traveller, I would be interested in taking. Being in the town centre, you just can’t get tired for travelling around its streets and popping in at various stores, even if it is just to browse around. For foodies, this location couldn’t get better .Every possible cuisine is available at a stone’s throw… For popcorn lovers , would recommend Marys’. There is a varied choice of cuisine - Vietnamese , Korean . Thai . Japanese, Turkish , steaks as well as Indian !

“One night stay!”
First night in Banff this is where we stayed as we wanted to experience Banff town. Great location and a near excellent stay. Didn’t eat here as we went into town. A fair price as well. Staff also very friendly. Ok for parking to. Would go back even for one night.

Location, location, location! The main draw of this hotel is its location right in the center of town. You’re a couple of minutes walk from most places. Location, location, location! The main draw of this hotel is its location right in the center of town. You’re a couple of minutes walk from most places. There is private underground parking (extra fee) which is totally worth it. The hotel has a rustic cute feel, the bed is comfortable and the front desk staff are wonderful and helpful. My main negative points are that I feel like it’s overpriced in that it’s more like a nice motel. The breakfast is in a room in the parking garage and is continental style. Some shops back onto the lobby with glass making it not feel like a private lobby. Overall I recommend this place due to its location and helpful friendly staff.

Fabulous location near many great restaurants and shopping in Banff, this lodge is cute, rustic and comfortable with a bit of a quirky layout. You may encounter some short stairs to get to your room. It was a nice change though away from some of the cookie cutter bigger hotels. Our room was quite spacious with windows we could open. There is a small breakfast room on the side of the underground parking with basic breakfast options that was complimentary. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
