This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at and is an incredibly special experience. First the staff are all super lovely and helpful. We arrived later in the evening and were invited to sit as they checked us in. Welcome drinks with cold towels were provided and much appreciated. Then they guided us to the room, provided a tour, and brought up our luggage. The room was spacious and lovely with wonderful amenities. Turn down service with sweet treats, plenty of water, and welcome fruits. The restaurant is well priced and open air surrounded by a fantastic pond. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and never had a bad meal. The entire hotel is stunning, with high walls surrounding the hotel, lush plants, hanging vines, you forget you are in the city. The pool is as nice as the photos. It can get busy but never had issue finding a place to lay. You can order drinks and food from the pool. They offered happy hour in the open air lobby bar with local spirits. Truly a wonderful place to sit and relax with a drink. They also had happy hour on their spa treatments. The massages were fantastic. Following they provided tea and fruit. The hotel arranged a tour of Angkor Wat and surrounding temples. The guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We were driven around comfortably, provided a fruit snack, waters, and lunch at a comfortable restaurant. Upon leaving the hotel they provided us a cute frame with Angkor Village Hotel for photos as a gift. I would gladly come back to Siem Reap just for this hotel.

Overall, a lovely property with kind staff. It’s set in tons of lush greenery - not a cookie cutter hotel. I found it as a member of the small luxury hotels of the world alliance. The room was a larger size and clean. The pool was nice on a hot day, there is a phone there to order food / drinks poolside. I liked that breakfast was a menu as after a lot of traveling, buffets get tiresome. The massage I did was lovely and they’re reasonably priced/have expansive hours onsite. Walking distance to restaurants, whatever you need. Tuktuks are outside and Grab (essentially Ubers) are a minute out if you need them. Thank you to David - he was always there with a smile and offering to help. The hotel set me up with drivers and a guide when needed to see the expansive Angkor Wat complex. Samnang took me around one day for an overview - he is friendly and a great photographer. I would recommend/return to this property.

Our family only had a (too) short stay at Angkor Village Hotel, staying one night so we could visit the Angkor temples. Wanted a hotel that had a distinctive look - I've been trying to avoid hotels that look as if they could be ANYWHERE - i.e., a Hilton/ Hyatt/ IHG/ Marriott (no offense to them - I also enjoy staying at many of them) that could be identical between my tropical paradise and my urban center. Angkor Village, with its lush greenery and dark wood, appeared to fit the bill. Booked a suite double at a very reasonable price - the room was very spacious, at around 100sqm (~1000sf to us non-metrics). Our little girl loved lounging on the large lanai, as well as eating at the hotel's restaurant, which was surrounded by their relaxing lagoon. Service, both in our room and at the restaurant was gracious, and we were always greeted with smiling faces. Truthfully, the hot water in our room was a little wonky, but in the Siem Reap weather, that wasn't a huge problem for us. My only regret? That we couldn't stay a few more days.

“A+ place”

Super relaxing grounds surrounded by pond with fish and many aquatic plants, very green. Friendly staff with many outdoor areas to enjoy and the indoor areas to work, read, or have a meeting. The breakfast is very good with what I think breakfast should be.
