On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

“Pleasant but noisy area”
Not a bad choice, excellent upscale restaurant. Close to markets and variety of other restaurants. Very firm bed, very soft sinking couch. Important to realize it is Cambodia so try NOT to compare to your experiences in more developed places. DO enjoy a welcome drink. But lots of traffic

We stayed at the Almond Hotel as part of a tour group. The rooms were comfortable, although they lacked places to store clothes. The two restaurants (one Japanese) were very good, as was the included breakfast. The in-hotel bar was, however, a complete disaster. It had practically no stock of common liquors, and the bar keep knew nothing about how to do his job. The other issue I had there occurred when I went to check out. The desk said that all three credit cards I tendered were not honored by the credit card companies. All three had been honored in the days before, and all three were honored without issues in the days after. My belief is the hotel did not want to incur the fee for using a credit card.
