The hotel is nicely positioned on bay shore. It occupies a large area and has everything the family with children might wish, so there is no real cause to leave the hotel complex. And everything (almost) is included. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Many speak several languages. The attitude is very positive. Restaurant staff is very polite and friendly. The room cleaning staff is friendly and helpful. There is an equipped gym, hair saloon and spa in the hotel. Room: The room was extremely spacious, with large bathroom and ample balcony. We booked a sea view room and received the most beautiful 24hr view. The room amenities include air conditioner, flat screen 32" TV and a refrigerator. There are plastic table and chairs on the balcony. The bathroom includes a bath, separate shower and hair dryer. I was surprised to find a coffee machine and hot/cold water bar on each floor. There are plenty of disposable cups in a room - just walk few meters to select your favorite coffee or cocoa drink. Food: There is a large restaurant with 3 meals a day. The variety of choices is huge. Bulgarian, Mediterranean and western cuisine. The variety of cakes and pies is enormous, and they look and taste good. Drinks include vines, beer, carbonated drinks and many juices (including freshly squeezed). All kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables. In addition, there are several more restaurants, offering specific cuisine (Italian, Mexican, etc.). The pool bar offers drinks, donuts, ice cream and pizzas. There is special ice cream stall close to the beach. There are also bars on a reception floor. In many places there are drink stands. There are coffee machines and water bars on each floor. In the late evening there is an offer of sandwiches and fruits. Pools: There are several pools (including for little ones), water park with several slides, and indoor pool. All pools are under lifeguard supervision. There is large number of sunbeds and parasols. Enough for everyone. Pools are kept clean. There are water games and aerobics, conducted by lovely "Animation Team". The hotel provides towels, which can be replaced by clean ones whenever needed. Beach: The hotel has a private beach with lifeguard supervision. There are sunbeds and parasols and huge straw awning, so there is lots of shadow for sun haters. The water is calm with no waves at all, transparent in the morning. A lot of crabs, crustaceans and even fish. There is ice cream stall and a drink bar close by. Entertainment: There is special “Animation Team”, handling the hotel entertainment events. During the day the team arranges water games and water aerobics. Many activities for children and adults, including competitions. Every evening there is disco event for kids, after that there is an evening show in the outside amphitheater. The weather was good. We enjoyed every minute of out stay. I wish to thank the hotel personnel for our beautiful vacation. Until next time.

Sol resort in Nessebar is the best destination I've been so far. Their aqua park is amazing. Their service is best class, very tasty food and lots of entertaining for all ages. There is also nice access to the beach and sea. Definitely recommend to the family. The staf are very friendly.

Just got back from the palace so I’m writing an honest review and sharing some tips. We arrived at 2 am, checked in and got given a little pack-up with some snacks and water. We got our luggage taken up to our rooms, there were 3 rooms in our booking and we were the last in our rooms and the ‘bellboy’ demanded a tip.. i don’t mind tipping but hate when it's demanded.. We stayed on the 6th floor, the view was beautiful! But if you are travelling with children just be wary that there isn’t a good lock on the balcony door and its easy to get out to the balcony - it does seem secure but just worth mentioning. Our room was immaculate and stayed that way the full holiday, all the cleaning staff did great on the rooms and all across the hotel! Meal times, it tells you when is busy, never bad on the early slots- mainly later on. But normally can still get what you're after ( small rant here- some people kept bringing Tupperware boxes in and stuffing them with seafood and fruit and desserts) The food kept the same throughout, odd mix on the meat sometimes, my kids just wanted pizza and nuggets. Just be careful carrying your food around (not because of the seagulls.. but kids just running around the restaurant like crazy, and some guests not having any manners and pushing into you/in front of you) On the topic of food and drinks: All the snack bars were great but get there as soon as they open otherwise, you're queuing for a LONG TIME.. The burgers and hot dogs were amazing, fish and chips (fishbites) were beautiful too if you fancy that instead of going for the buffet lunch. There was always something to eat (which is great for kids) The drinks, some people complained about being weak on this group.. now not something we found was the case, they also had local spirits that was included. They have a local Irish cream, which the lady kindly told us about instead of us paying for it. I was on mocktails as i was pregnant but they was beautiful!! Getting a sunbed around the palace was easy, didn’t have to reserve any early, There was always some throughout day, we got right to front near the kids pool everyday. The sunbeds seemed always full around the waterpark, bay and maire… but people kept going to use the palace ones and didn’t get told to move so.. same with the beach, lots of purple and orange bands with nobody to move them from the palace sunbeds - its annoying because you’ve paid extra for that.. so get to beach early!!! Things to do in the hotel ; always had some entertainment on, we didn’t bother with it. At night it got busy round the stage, get there early.. but we didn’t bother. They have things such as water balls (the ones you can run on water in) which were 15lev, think it was roughly same for the bouncy castles.. not sure about anything else. Popcorn was lovely though, the caramel one especially! Waterpark area was nice, but again some parents just let their kids run riot- pushing other kids etc.. then don’t want to even apologise -.- One night we went to look for the ‘midnight snacks’ in the Bailard room.. was like the bread they didn’t use up during day it wasn’t the best, but i guess if you’ve had a drink you won’t mind :) TAXIS!! Don’t use the hotel taxis, I'll attach a photo i got from the sol nessebar group with a lovely man who sorted us out. The hotel taxi wanted to charge 15/20 extra. The hotel sorted us a minibus to sunny beach and back and cost 150.. which we should have got 2 taxi’s for cheaper.. We paid 20 to sunny beach and 15 to old town each way after that. Its worth a trip to both sunny beach and old town! Wish we got an extra suitcase for all the stuff we wanted to bring back- handbags, tracksuits etc! On checkout day we couldn’t keep our room, and got mistold to use the toilets in fitness suit to get ‘changed and showered’ .. wasn’t fun and got told by another guest later on that we could have used the indoor pool ones.. so bare that in mind, don’t get squished in a toilet trying to get changed! In summary, absolutely lovely place, a lovely location and lots to do, my only complaints are about some members of staff being a little rude, as well as other guests being rude and not controlling their own children.. But you can get there anywhere lol.. i’d go back again in June as i felt it was the perfect time to go! Any questions feel free to ask

The staff are abit rude, i dont think they like english people although the lady in the shop was nice. Only a bus ride away from nessebar old town and sunny beach which is also good.
