“A good hotel, great location”

The hotel totally corresponds the 3* requirements. Personnel is friendly. Barely speak English, but speak German, anyway try to communicate even with a language barrier. Breakfast buffet is good, various types of breakfasts, so you can feel yourself as at home. The hotel has a great seaside location, I had a sea-view room. It's not noisy, which is a plus for a good night sleep. Everything is clean. Recommend for a calm low-budget trip.

I've visited "off season" for the spa services. That's the way this hotel should be used IMHO. First let me start with the good things. The spa was absolutely good ! It goes beyond your usual spa. They have mud and salt water procedures that worth it. The rooms are good too: spacious and with a great terrace. They have baths in the rooms too. The mini bar was usable. The breakfast was very good and completely usable too. They've also charged my visa card without issues at checkout. Now the not so good things: We ate lunch at the same restaurant we had breakfast in. What a drop in quality ! Despite the fact that we were actually paying for it. E.g. the vegetables in the salad I've got have seen better days in their past. We never repeated it. The lobby bar coffee shop was selling an ok coffee but was charging an arm and a leg for it ! Avoid at all costs ! And finally the worst part: The town the hotel is in is plain horrible ! It used to be a small, no frills fishing village. The building boom had blown it out of proportion. Now it's full of ghastly ugly square building blocks that are so close to each other that it's scary. The infrastructure of the village is completely absent. There are no usable roads, so it's very hard to get to the hotel. The same small strip of beach is still there, but now (in front of the hotel) it's filled with ugly sheds that charge an appalling daily rate. Everybody parks everywhere (including on the usable parts of the broken downs streets so it's impossible to pass. That includes the hotel parking too: the tiny area in front of the lobby is crammed with cars that didn't move for the duration of our stay, so we had to walk 150 meters with our luggage etc. There was a loud night club right beneath our windows that, despite the low season was drumming loud music until late.

The hotel is 3 star, so you can't expect a 4 star accommodation! PROS: I liked the staff, everyone was very polite and friendly. The hotel is 3 star, so you can't expect a 4 star accommodation! PROS: I liked the staff, everyone was very polite and friendly. The room was good size, with new furniture, and our room was with a fabulous balcony. The room was silent, but it didn't face the pool! It's a clean hotel facing the sea, more of rooms have a wonderful sea view. The indoor pool and the outdoor pool are good with sea water.The restaurant is very beautiful, with a splendid sea view and new furniture. CONS: For me the food is important and in this hotel it was the worst I've ever seen in All inclusive offers. The breakfast was the best: cheese, eggs, ham, salami, yogurt, muesli, little salted typical Bulgarian cakes (banitsa), vegetables, fruits, coffee, tea, water, artificial juice. The other meals was disaster (for me). THERE ARE NOT VEGETARIAN MEALS. In lunch you have one meat soup, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, peppers, 2 or 3 types of meal with meat, and for vegetarians every day boiled potatoes, boiled rice and boiled spaghetti. For dessert you have just one type of fruit. No cakes, nothing. The dinner is almost the same, and if it' is some food last for the lunch you can see it at dinner too and 1 new one (all with meat) In dinner you have 1 type of cake and a battle from all tourist to take some piece of it. The cheeses (white and yellow) are a low quality. The long chairs next to the pool aren't enough for a so big hotel. If you don't care about the food or this food is good for you, you can visit the hotel.
