“Relaxed retreat by the Black Sea”

Recently renovated hotel, large and modern rooms, good selection of food and drinks (only downside: no free drinks at the beach), nice sand beach, family friendly, the animation team was the best - thanks to Hris, Vicky, Sonja, Daniel, Victor and co! :D

The entertainment was great. Animation programme had fun games and sport to play. They were very friendly and encouraged guests to take part.

“Not the best at the time we went”

The hotel itself is very nice except when you get dropped off and have to come up in the lift you think to yourself what have we let ourselves in for the doors were filthy and full of cobwebs, but the hotel was clean and very nice but the food wasn't brilliant it was cold all the time and had to microwave it all the time ,there was no entertainment except one night of Bulgarian folk dancing which was nice the winery was closed and the staff in the restaurant area very miserable and didn't make any contact with you just wanted to take your plates away as fast as possible the a la carte was closed the beach bar was shut we went late September so it was low season proberly ok in high season but prepare to catch bus or taxi to get anywhere as it is far from anything

I will start off by saying I was rather concerned after reading some of these comments, but it prepared me for what to expect. I would say you pay for what you get. It definitely isn't a 4 start hotel. Firstly checking in was at 23.30 and the reception lady just said "information on your telly in your room" and that was it. Room:- very clean, modern, free mini bar on arrival, lovely spacious bathroom and balcony. The chairs on the balcony were broken, but didn't ask for that to be changed. The carpets on the corridor were disgusting. Food:- breakfast was probably the best meal of the day. Fresh pancakes/ waffles/ cereal/ bread/salad/yoghurt. Lunch and evening meal again lots of choice, but alot of it I wouldn't have touched. Chips and snack throughout the day we're quite often cold, but the doughnuts were delicious. Drinks were questionable and rather strong and that is soft drinks not alcoholic ones. Area- don't come here if you like to explore the area there is nothing to explore unless you want to get buses to different locations which are reasonable, but don't ever come on time. Staff:- one of the receptionists long dark wavy hair was very helpful and had a good level of English others not so much. Dinner staff were miserable, on phones and vaping in the restaurant. There was one man who was very polite short black hair in a top knot. Animation:- were good, but alot the same mini disco every night for children. Very boring and also very late. For younger children such a shame. Bouncy castle on site but you have to pay extra for it 12lev for 20mins. Pools:- alot smaller than we expected but mainly clean. Always able to find a bed. Beach:- the beach is ok, lots of sunbeds not a problem getting one. Toilet next to the bar. The bar is not included in the all inclusive though and is rather pricey. If you are travelling with TUI don't do their extortionate trips do it yourself so so much cheaper. Plus not rushed and can do it all at your own pace. Would I come back here no. I found the hotel average and alot of the Bulgarian people outside of the hotel were very rude and didn't welcome.
