“A good business hotel”

Maitá isn't really a B&B. It is a good 3 star hotel. Very comfortable rooms, clean and modern, very good breakfast buffet and helpful staff. The top reviews of Maitá Palace Hotel are: Maitá isn't really a B&B. It is a good 3 star hotel. Very comfortable rooms, clean and modern, very good breakfast buffet and helpful staff. Parking is available on the street in front of the hotel for free. The location of the hotel is the downside. It is in front of a cement distribution plant and there is a railroad nearby. The noise from the railroad and from the busy traffic on the avenue in front of the hotel is kept outside by the thick windows. A room on a higher floor should be considered. There is nothing to do around the hotel within walking distance. The hotel is close to the city center (5 min by car) but going there on foot isn't advisable for safety reasons. Tourists should be warned that some restaurants in Passo Fundo (even in the biggest shopping center in the city) do not operate with credit or debit cards. We were surprised by this when paying for a meal and had to find an ATM in the shopping center to withdraw cash. Passo Fundo itself is not of any interest for tourists, so do not expect any infrastructure or services designed for travelers. This hotel, definitely, is a very good option for business travelers and for those in need of a layover during a long car journey..
