I agree that its just across the rd from one of the nicer beaches on the island. My room was very nice and I enjoyed the luxury of wakeing in the morning to see a Tucan sitting in the tree outside my room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We loved the Pousada that is very near to what for us is the prettiest beach of the island the "Praia do Juliao" (about 110 yards distance = 100 meters).
