My only complaint is that the breakfast buffet plates are too small. They are probably trying to send the guests a message: "don't eat too much". Otherwise my stay was fantastic. Nice clean hotel. Friendly attentive staff. I had a couple of minor issues and each time, they sent someone immediately to address those issues. The hotel is in the nicest part of Fortaleza, right in front of the nicest beach area. Completely safe, day or night. There are lots of police presence. A ton of outdoor restaurants and street vendors. Fish market, where you can eat fresh fish, is a 2 minute taxi ride. People walking, jogging, bicycling, roller skating, swimming in the beach, etc. The carnival passed right in front of the hotel a couple of nights ago. I was charged 125 dollars a night earlier, but after the carnival, the price went down to 90 USD per night. Be very careful before you decide to venture out to other areas though. This is not a safe city. By the way, be sure to have some Acai. It hits the spot on a hot day.

“Beach trip birthday weekend ”
We will be back!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub area is so very relaxing. The beach is amazing and literally footsteps away. “Good for business Monday through Friday, on weekends lots of tourists”
The rooms may need a renovation, I know it's kind of old but it would work, for example some electrical installations to turn the lights on once you get into the room. Usb connections are located very low next to the bed, bathroom requires an upgrade and I know some appreciate mini bars and so on but with just a set of big bottles of water would be enough. Menu for breakfast should offer more interesting options, and for dinner there is a need to have a better options in menu. More places to work and take conference calls could be a great deal because Wi-Fi speed is good.

This hotel has a lot of potential, but the service was disappointing. The location is excellent—situated between the main beaches and within walking distance of nightlife. My ocean-view room was spacious with a stunning beach view. However, housekeeping repeatedly failed to refill the soap and shower gel. I also had an issue with the minibar—I simply moved the items to the side to use the fridge and was then charged for everything, despite them being right next to it. Explaining this to reception turned into a frustrating battle. The restaurant area felt overcrowded, with long waits for tables and an especially slow-moving line at the tapioca station every day. The chef was also very strict and had no flexibility on orders which was strange. The pool was in a shaded area, making it unappealing to use. Security was another hassle, unnecessarily redirecting Ubers away from the entrance even when there was no traffic waiting. Despite being owned by an English company, the staff had very limited English skills and made little effort to assist foreign guests. As an IHG member, I usually find late check-outs and perks on offer; however, these are not available here. Overall, the service fell well below the usual IHG standards, making the high price feel unjustified.

Nice room and location, very nice beach views. Good buffet breakfast as well. Against: very slow elevators. However, the staff is not very knowledgeable. I needed to extend one night because my continuation flight was 4:30 AM ... I booked that in the web site, pre-paid tariff as it was my stay. The day before departing asked the reception desk to extend my key, as they confirmed that I will get the same room, so I don't need to do it on the same last day in a hurry before the check-out, as I was too busy in a conference. They did. However they did it wrong. So when I returned from my conference, using the terribly slow elevators, went to my room (in the last floor, 21st), and then the key was not working, so again down to the reception, wait for them to finish with other customers, etc., So I lost 1 hour among both days to get my key working. They should compensate customers for their errors and ensure that the failed staff get some kind of penalty for not doing correctly their job at once.
