My room was clean, the staff attentive, and the food was good in the restaurant. I would come back for the beauty of the area.

“Too far from center of town”

This hotel certainly has charming setting with pool and private beach on green lagoon. But the distance to the town of alter do Chao, a 20 minute walk in the heat is not ideal. This hotel certainly has charming setting with pool and private beach on green lagoon. But the distance to the town of alter do Chao, a 20 minute walk in the heat is not ideal. Only one person speaks English and when he is not there it's hard to manage. We were in the treehouse, which is like a cabin. AC there does not work well. It's basic accommodation. nothing fancy. Staff friendly and trying to be helpful

Beautiful resort-style hotel along the river with lots of activities. Beach is private and very quiet, awesome location. Rooms were large and clean with excellent housekeeping service. Reception staff was also very helpful. I took off points for very poor restaurant service; getting the impression that I was a huge interruption to their leisure time and with their texting family & friends. Time to receive beverages and food was excessive. Could not order any variation of a menu item due to lack of willingness on the part of restaurant staff and language barriers.
