The hotel is expensive with respect to the size of the city and the nearby options, but at least they offer very clean rooms, a nice service and a very good and diversified breakfast (included in the price). It's also very convenient because they have a private parking. The swimming pool is beautiful and cozy, ever clean. Not so big, but enough to get some rest and amuse yourself on a hot day. You can lie on the long chairs or even alongside of the small rocks inside, breathing the fresh breeze. The rooms are comfortable, with a large bed that won't allow you to wake up without much effort! They also have small fridges to keep your food fresh. The TV subscription channels however are not big deal, not having many available channels to watch. Around the hotel you can find the downtown streets, with the two main historical churches as well as a varied range of commercial stores, restaurants, ice cream shops, banks, supermarkets, groceries and anything else you may need. If you have a car, you can go to Avenue Prof. Lucas Nogueira Garcez, where you can find the main bars and best restaurants in the city (I recommend you the 'Seo Dito' bar, with typical food and beverages) as well as the nightlife. Another thing I loved about this hotel is the clear view to the Big Rock (Pedra Grande) at the top of the mountain southwards, the local landscape which attracts lots of tourists all-year round. It's also a great opportunity to go there and have a great view of the region around! I definitely recommend it! Even though the price is expensive, I really recommend this hotel if you have time to enjoy it and the city for a weekend (especially if you are a couple): it's romantic, in Atibaia you can find very good bars and restaurants, the weather is always nice and fresh and you can visit the local landscapes and surprise yourself!
