Everything was OK. The stafff at the front desk is very helpful. The sauna is back. The gym is well equiped.

1. Check-in/Check-out: 2/5 This is the main point of contention. Came at 14:50 and were told that our connecting rooms would not be ready for at least another 30 minutes. No bueno. The official check-in time was confirmed to be at 15:00 2. Rooms (cleanliness, amenities) 5/5 Spotless. Comfy. Nice. Would sleep again. 3. On-premise restaurants: 5/5 Breakfast downstairs was plentiful and tasty. It was 15 Euro per person and was well worth it. The breakfast room had only two servers who were not catching up, and the tables around us were piling up with tables after the guests were done with their breakfast. Dinner: I ordered to go, and the food was delicious. Recommend. 4. Pool area: n/a 5. Service: 5/5 Notes: I am thinking (almost sure?) that the issue with the check-out was, possibly, unique to my booking. So, at the check-out, I was told to pay for the room as well, even though I had pre-paid through my bank travel platform (lesson learned: I never confirmed at the check-in if they received the payment since I pre-paid in full). “Hotel did not receive any money,” was the front desk response. An hour later, on the phone with the bank’s rep and NH’s front desk, we left with the folio printed out with the understanding that if the Hotel did not get the money, my cc would be charged in full. Fine. Wasted time as is. Then I see the charge anyway. Take it up with my bank, who, in turn, calls the hotel and then comes back to me. NH did get the money and will refund the room charge. I got the money back. Now, while there was an obvious miscommunication between my bank and the hotel’s system, the reason for a lower ranking is purely for the room not being ready for the check-in time. Overall weighted score: 4.0 out of 5.0 Would we come back? If need to be close with Brussel’s airport, yes. Otherwise, not certain.
