Which was a room mix up and the manager had forgotten to give a group of six lads the rooms they ordered with single beds so we had 3 rooms with one bed each! Poor that! Good news was that the beds were huge so it didn’t really matter! Some free drinks were given in exchange. The rooms were stupidly hot though! The air con did absolutely nothing! Large rooms, good bathrooms perfect for a weekend away. It’s in a great location too, bit of a walk to the main tourist spots but plenty of modes of transportation available. Even though it wasn’t perfect, I had a great time, breakfast was great if you like french pastries! It’s unlikely I’ll go back to Belgium as it stupidly expensive now. But if you are, and you’re on a budget, give it a whirl!

Hotel was fine for 1 or 2 nights, it is not somewhere I would want to stay any longer. It has definitely seen better days and needs a lot of TLC. It is very different to the photos on the site. The rooms are very basic and outdated. On the surface the room seemed clean, but there were a lot of stains in the carpet, marks on the wall and chips in the bathroom. We were lucky that the friendly gentleman on reception kindly gave us a room on the back, as we could still hear the noise from the street out front, so can’t imagine the noise from a front facing room at night! The breakfast was extremely basic, there is nothing hot on offer but for the budget price you can’t complain. There was toast, cereal and basic pastries, and the option to boil your own egg. We didn’t bother with the breakfast after the first morning and opted to eat out. Location was great, only a few minutes walk from popular streets, and if you are happy to walk like we were, you can take a longer walk to more central sights. Avenue Louise itself offers lots of places to eat and shop. The staff on reception were really friendly and welcoming, always greeting us as we came and went. Overall, I don’t think we will be back to this hotel but for the price we paid for our stay, we couldn’t have expected much more.

My room had a narrow balcony so just be wary if you're travelling with young children. There was no noise at night. Breakfast was also fairly basic, really just a continental selection of cereals and pastries. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is an ideal option to consider if travelling to Brussels and just need someone to put your head down for the night.

“Not too bad, but nothing to write home about”
It is not your standard ibis styles - this used to be a different hotel, and albeit it has been taken over by Accor Group, the traces of former décor are omnipresent. The room was rather tired, albeit very clean. The bed was good, we slept well, The breakfast was included, however, I would say it wasn't the best breakfast compared to other ibis styles hotels we've have experience staying at. All in all, if you're looking to spend a night and get going, this could be a good option. For a luxury/experience Brussels I would suggest staying elsewhere.
