Location was really good. Close to Brussels midi station and many attractions in the city. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and pleasant, The family suite is very spacious and welcoming. Breakfast is good with a good selection. Parking nearby. is a plus. Unfortunatelly. lift was not working for one day. This must be the fifth or sixth time we have stayed at the Garden Inn and we certainly. plan to visit again.

The room was big and very clean. Mine also had a kitchen. The location is also okay; with a 15-minute walk, you will get to the Grand Place. The staff were quite like "doing only their job, no more or less". Unfortunately there were no slippers in room, so I had to call the reception, and although they were not willing to bring them to me, I insisted, and after 5 minutes, someone showed up. Also, there was no water in the room! They said you had to buy some at a place near the front desk. The general atmosphere was not lively, but if you are searching for a quiet hotel, go for it. It is incredibly quiet, like you are the only one there! Overall, I would rate it 7.5/10.

The hotel is located such that a 15-20 min walk will get you to see all the sights inc train station/shuttle bus stop. The breakfast was decent..I did enjoy the mushrooms and fruit salad. Scrambled eggs were hit or miss. Found the bed mattress a bit too unsupportive for my liking. The hotel has umbrellas for you to use and return. …good idea. Be aware your bed will not be made nor your towels changed on a daily basis as expected else where. Here it is done every 3 days or when you check-out depending on what comes first !! Hotel refers to this as: ‘Conserve to Preserve’ ( see photo) Elias was a great bartender and Mya was helpful at all times..true assets to the establishment

We stayed three days. The price was very cheap given the large size of the rooms which also included a kitchen. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately you can’t log into your own streaming services on the TV. You need to be quiet in the rooms as the sound proofing between floors is abismal. You can hear others above you moving around and it’s quite annoying. We looked at a nice hotel, and let’s face it Hilton is a name associated with quality. When you look at a map it appears the hotel is situated centrally between Brussels Central Station and. Brussels Midi Station. Unfortunately it’s closer to midi. This is not a nice area. Think of an area/suburb in your town/city where you would not live and this is that area. Lots of rubbish on the streets. Lots of graffiti on the walls. Appears to have lots of homeless and beggars around the streets. I see other reviews say it’s in a safe area. This is not quite the truth if you do further research online. Too far from the inner Stadt of Brussels for an enjoyable walk. Stay here if you want to stay in this region as it’s well priced. Don’t stay here if it’s your first trip to Brussels and want to explore the city sights by foot.

There is a lot that’s good about this hotel, but also a couple deal breakers. The good - The room we stayed in was relatively large and appeared recently remodeled. The beds were firm and comfortable. We can a lovely view and the bathroom was large enough. The mini fridge seemed to leak a bit, but was very handy. The location is close to metros and walking distance to just about everything. The area around the hotel is quiet and safe enough. Breakfast was varied and very good, and the breakfast staff was kind and efficient. Notably, the person who checked us in the evening of 11/29/24 was excellent - efficient, helpful and attentive to our questions. He also personally brought us extra pillows and it appeared nothing was too much trouble. Better service that the 5-star hotel we had just left. Finally, the gym was relatively large and a guest laundry is available. The bad: The gym equipment was a bit tired and some padding had torn and was covered with tape (or needed to be). Hallway lights were lit with motion detectors, so we opened our door into momentary darkness each morning - not a big deal but a bit spooky. Hallway carpet badly stained and in need of replacement. (As the hotel was replacing a damaged stair at the time, it seems they are actively repairing/refreshing the hotel, so I suspect this will be done shortly.) Housekeeping was excellent. The deal breakers: The smell in the bathroom (perhaps from the drains) was terrible. The sewage smell came and went, and seemed to be better when we closed the sink drain…but was unpleasant just the same. Even so, we assume this will be addressed and we talked about returning until some rude behavior by the bartender and his front desk colleague around 6pm on 12/3/2024. Saying unkind things about us when you think we don’t speak the language is disrespectful and highly unprofessional.
