This is an excellent airport hotel. It's in an industrial area not far from the airport, but you won't see or hear the industrial area once you are through the front doors of the hotel. The setting is beautiful, the facilities are first class and the staff is courteous and helpful. The hotel restaurant is very nice, and the breakfast buffet was terrific. They have very regular bus transportation to and from the airport. As you exit the underground airport car rental garage toward the terminal, look to the left and you will see all of the bus stops.

Roadworks taking place outside of the hotel made it a tad convoluted to get to in our coach, but we got a nice tour of the other buildings in this complex whilst getting there! Other coaches preferred to go in via the exit so something to bear in mind! As part of our coach trip we had porterage included which took around 30 minutes but was still convenient after a long day sitting! The door to access the hotel is automatic but you have to get VERY close to it before it activates so again, something to bear in mind. We had a park view room which was quiet and rather pretty, but given we were there for an overnight stay only not necessary - I think if you were here for longer though it would be a great request. The room had a mini fridge (unsure of contents as it automatically charged you and I didn't want to risk a charge for being nosy), two bottles of water and the usual tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities. The kettle was incredibly clean, as was the room itself and the en suite. The beds were on the firm side but very comfy and the four pillows were excellent (there are four on each bed). The shower water pressure was a little on the weak side even when on a strong setting, but it heated nicely and I liked that you could very clearly see the temperature you were using rather than guessing. There is limited charging by the beds, but a full charging stand at the desk, including USB charging AND a UK plug (as well as a standard European plug). Staff were polite and efficient, including those at breakfast. Breakfast was available from 6AM but the chef didn't seem to start coking a lot of the hot food until a little while after as the staff had to go searching for them. When we arrived at 6.02 there was bacon, hash browns and sausages already available in the hot plates. Outside of this there was a fine spread of cold meats and cheeses, breads, cereals and fruit. To drink there was a wide variety of juices (the orange juice was excellent, clearly fresh) and coffee machines were situated throughout the breakfast area. Whilst the variety of the food was good, the quality was a little disapointing but maybe I had too high standards (this was my first time staying in a Crowne Plaza and the name alone made me think super high quality). As we visited whilst on a coach trip i can't really say how close this is to the airport, but when outside there was some minimal plane noise so it seemed close. It's definitely close to the ring-road around Brussels though so convenient to access by road. If I was travelling in the area in the future I would definitely consider this hotel, though I expect it would be outside of my standard budget.

Great hotel for a stopover at the Brussels Airport. We flew over from the US and got into Brussels later in the evening and needed a hotel close to the airport to spend the night. The Crown Plaza is a very nice hotel. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. They have plugs to charge your devices including USB ports by the bed and our room had a US plug so we didn’t need an adapter. We were upgraded to the 6th floor which has a little lounge that has some drinks (mostly 2 different types of beer and soft drinks and water). There was a coffee machine however it was out of milk so didn’t make any sort of cappuccino type drinks just espresso and hot water. Ask for a view of the little lake behind the hotel. You do not hear the airport noise at all. Very quiet. Would definitely stay again! Also they have a free shuttle bus running to the airport every 20 minutes.

I used to visit this hotel about a decade ago- it seemed well designed, cool for the genre (airport hotel) and above all new. Now it seems tired. I used to visit this hotel about a decade ago- it seemed well designed, cool for the genre (airport hotel) and above all new. Now it seems tired. It was well populated enough, but frankly for no obvious reason other than want of competition. The restaurant had Belgian beers- great- kind of expected in a Belgian hotel, but the food is three types of Caesar salad and a bunch of steaks with chips. The vegan burger was off. A guest with a hacking cough kept me awake for quite a bit of the night. Go for the convenience, but go to Zaventum for some food.
