Travelled to Center Parcs De Haan as an alternative to the UK center parcs and was pleasantly surprised with how similar and comfortable the parks are to the uk ones. Travel crossing was simple enough taking the DFDS route Dover to Dunkirk. Nice to break up the journey and have some lunch on the way. If you are familiar to CPUK you will find it nice that the village centre is all undercover and a nice alfresco feeling to all the restaurants. There is a great (biggest I have ever seen) soft play park for kids under 12. That is free there is the odd kids play activity that operates on a load and go card system. (Which is quite expensive at 15 credits for €18 (1 credit - 1 go on the claw machine) The swimming pool is similar to Elvedon. (But without the cyclone). The Wild Water Rapids are a bit slower but there is some steeper sections where you get some speed up. On site shop is as you would expect. Great choice and variation. Great perk to have an amazing beach just 10min walk away through the trails. Would highly recommend a walk there during your visit.

Lovely park, easy location, close to Bruges for the Christmas markets. Good Aquadome, rapids were brilliant!! Crazy golf was fun, and bowling was a laugh. Some staff were absolutely lovely, and others were a little grumpy, could be the time of year I suppose, or the fact that we were English, despite trying to speak a little French, at least making an effort. But didn't seem to help. Food was delicious, and the Pizza restaurant went out of their way to accommodate a gluten intolerant member of our party - top marks to them! Choice was very limited though, especially for a vegan! The accommodation was warm and comfortable, although could have been a lot cleaner!! Was very dusty and had mould spots in the bathroom and separate toilet, but I would imagine it was more damp this time of year. Lots of cobwebs in the roof areas too. All in all a lovely site, but a bit tired, and in need of an update.

“Great stay”

Stayed here recently in a 4 bedroom house. We were worried about what we would find as the recent reviews had been so poor. However our accommodation was clean and tidy. Stayed here recently in a 4 bedroom house. We were worried about what we would find as the recent reviews had been so poor. However our accommodation was clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable with very clean bedding. The house really had everything we needed, which was all very clean. The site itself we also found to be very clean, tidy and organised. We ate in the Italian restaurant once which was ok but not very authentic. The onsite cafe/bar was very good and we found it relaxing with a good atmosphere. The onsite shop was well stocked and had fresh warm pastries in the morning. The site is about 20 min drive from Bruges, and was an excellent base for getting around. Overall we had a really great stay and couldn’t find any faults. Maybe we were just lucky with our accommodation or maybe they’ve sharpened their act following the recent bad reviews. Either way our experience was good and we would recommend it.

**Review of Our Stay at Center Parcs De Hann** We recently spent three nights at Center Parcs De Hann in Belgium, and unfortunately, our experience has been quite disappointing. While we were looking forward to a relaxing getaway, several issues significantly affected our stay. Upon arrival, we encountered a broken dishwasher, which was a major inconvenience. More frustrating, however, was the ongoing issue with the boiler. Despite having an engineer come to inspect it daily, the boiler continued to fail, leaving us without basic heating and access to the jacuzzi bath that we had paid extra for. This meant that every hour, we were dealing with the discomfort of a cold environment, which was far from the cozy retreat we had anticipated. The constant need to wait around for the engineer was disruptive to our plans and added to our dissatisfaction. We had hoped for a seamless and enjoyable stay, but instead found ourselves dealing with a series of maintenance problems that detracted from our experience. As I’m writing this, a leak has just started in the living room. Dripping through the ceiling, through an electrical wire - on to the dining room table. I’m also extremely unwell and could really use a late check out but the help we’ve been provided so far has been so extremely unhelpful that I cannot bare even enquiring about a late check out. We believe that a resort of this caliber should ensure that basic amenities are functioning properly, and we were disappointed that our concerns were not resolved in a timely manner. Overall, this trip did not meet our expectations, and we hope that Center Parcs takes these issues seriously to improve future guests' experiences.
