My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. We had a lovely room with comfortable bed. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast were very accommodating. The breakfast options were plentiful. The location was very central to the town, yet tucked away on a quiet street. The parking was right at the back of the hotel, which was a huge plus for us. We highly recommend and would stay again should we return to Bruges.

“Great few days in Bruges”

A lovely hotel, in perfect location. The rooms were clean and spacious, to use the air con it has to be connected by bluetooth to your phone, the hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good, we would definitely stay there again 😊

I've visited Bruges several times and this place has become our favourite. It's in a quiet side street about 5 minutes walk from the Markt. The public rooms are nicely decorated and include pictures of headlines showing world events like the Wright Brothers first flight. There are scented candles in all the public areas to counter the Bruges aroma. This is a medium sized hotel(c.40 rooms) which makes for a more intimate experience. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast featured an impressive range including sausages, bacon , scrambled eggs and pancakes, The coffee was good even though it came from a machine.The small bar area provided a few beers, spirits and liquers. Our room was a decent size and had a lounge area with two armchairs and a desk. The mini bar was a bit token- two cans of beer and four bottles of water. I would have put a small chest of drawers there as there aren't any in the room. Like most hotels the bath was slippery and no mat provided to counter this. Comfortable king size bed with the traditional square pillows. Safe above the wardrobe rail. Kettle with tea and coffee options.

“Basic rooms - not worthy of 4 stars”

We stayed in room 006 on ground floor. Only storage space was 1 wardrobe and it wasn’t full length to hang dresses, no drawers for any storage apart from 2 bed side drawers which were tiny and tipped forward when you tried to open them. We stayed in room 006 on ground floor. Only storage space was 1 wardrobe and it wasn’t full length to hang dresses, no drawers for any storage apart from 2 bed side drawers which were tiny and tipped forward when you tried to open them. Very few wall sockets and when I wanted to plug the kettle in (supplied by hotel) I had to put it on the floor in order to reach the socket. We were not given fresh cups when our room was made up. Our room was ground floor facing the kitchen and we have been woken up to hear the staff talking and the smell of eggs cooking for breakfast, the staff also sat outside our open window smoking. Our room door rattled when people opened a door in the corridor. The shower was extremely slippery with no antislip mat. There was very limited space at the sink to put your own toiletries. The hotel supplied paper cups in bathroom which got soggy after a couple of uses. The towels were not very big to dry yourself on. I did express my concerns to the hotel reception and was told they have never had any complaints before! However, they did give me an anti slip mat for the shower. On a good note - when we checked in the hotel staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and there is a nice bar in the hotel (although we didn’t use it). The location of the hotel is very central to the main square in Bruges.
