“Great place to stay in Bruges”

A great place to stay in Bruges, excellent location, brilliant hosts, lovely accommodation and a super breakfast. What more could you ask for in a stay. The location is on the canal and a few minutes to the market centre. I tis within walk distance from the train stain or a very short hop in a taxi.

A very comfortable B&B in a central but quiet location, split into two separate buildings (so we can only comment on the building we were in). Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a sofa in front of a log-burning fire and a chandelier overhead. The en-suite bathroom was well appointed with modern fittings, a walk in shower and free-standing bath. There are attractive outdoor seating areas with a pretty walled garden on one side of the building and a small canal on the other. We stayed 4 nights giving us sufficient time to explore this fascinating and historic city. There's plenty to see and do. Tine was most helpful in showing us the best places to go. There was also a folder in our room indicating some of the local bars, restaurants, Chocolatiers and tea rooms we might like to try, several of which we visited and enjoyed. I have just two minor criticisms. It was difficult to regulate the temperature of the shower - it was too hot for me to stand under for more than a few seconds at a time! Also, I personally like a cooked breakfast, however the fried eggs were presented on a metal tray with a small t-light underneath to keep them warm and this was not adequate I'm afraid. I think a fried egg needs to be cooked to order. These are minor quibbles and would not stop me from recommending this very cozy accommodation for a visit to Bruges.

“Wonderful find”

Centrally located, beautifully decorated and atmospheric property with very friendly and helpful owners and fabulous breakfasts. Perfect base to explore the delights of this medieval city and ideal place to retire to after a day of exploring ! Highly recommend

An incredible property oozing with charm! An incredible property oozing with charm! We entered the property by walking down a paver pathway...thru the dining room to the Gustophe Suite and stepped into our suite where we were greeted with old world charm and a luxurious modern bath with classical background music playing in the background. The room was filled with delights: a huge crystal chandelier, a window that opened directly to a scenic canal that was blooming with flowers, a door that opened to a private garden with a seating area, surrounded by colorful flowers and bushes and a view of a cathedral's steeple...A velvety comfy sofa in front of a wood burning fireplace....A wardrobe with plush bathrobes and slippers, a comfy king bed, velvet drapes...A mini fridge with beer..A bottle of water and Belgium chocolates. The breakfast was well stocked with a wide variety of foods, meats, eggs, fresh breads, juices, teas, and coffees. Anna was an attentive and helpful host. She had a binder prepared of local offerings. The suite was exceptionally clean. The modern bath had a separate shower and a soaking tub, with plenty of hot water and thick absorbent towels. This was the first time I've ever taken a bath at a hotel! We rented bicycles and were able to store them on the patio. The location was wonderful- located on a quiet street with just a few minute walk to the market square and Belfry. After a long day out we came back to the room to find it all freshened up with some delicious chocolate cake waiting for us. I highly recommend this property. I felt it belonged in a movie. It was a very memorable place and if I'm ever back in Bruges I would love to stay here again.
