“Exp. Advisor”
Great experience, especially from house keeping point of view. Alam deserves a special mention for great hospitality and professional service attitude. Supported to introduce the area and also services in the hotel. Overall the hotel experience was great

“An oasis in Bahrain”
Jahirul of housekeeping was the best and everything was fantastic. The room was clean and always perfect. The food in the many restaurants is fantastic, the pool is a great place to relax and service is impeccable. I always stay at the Gulf Hotel.

“An experience that will not be repeated”
There is a musty smell in the rooms and some corridors. The furniture is old and the bed covers have a musty smell. An experience that will not be repeated with this hotel if things remain as they are. I checked with housekeeping but they didn’t do anything

“Disappointed ”
As others have said the hotel is dated. Lightbulbs not working in the room, no hot water on two of the 7 days I stayed here. My room gave me access to the Platinum Lounge on the 13th floor, but it was empty most of the time and for the last three days they gave up putting any food and wine up there… more

“Friendly staff but the hotel needs a renovation badly”
The hotel has probably seen better days. Wear and tear are visible everywhere. Staff is extremely nice and helpful, but basics are not there (damaged/old furnishings in room, noisy air conditioning, hot water is not always available, bedding is not worth mentioning....)
