Hotel location is just great. Rooms are good. Hotel staff are really responsive. However some of the staff are impolite. I think thats more cultural i didnt face any issue in the stay. Simple example when i call the lobby some time guy would reply "yes". you walk by lobby and the hotel general manager would turn his face around. However facilities and responsivness of hotel was good.

I moved to atropat after my horrible experience at white hotel and spa. The receptionist was helpful. The only thing I’d comment is on the basic room amenities (toiletries, kettle etc) that they said they don’t provide. Another negative point is their breakfast (very limited options such as boiled, red omelette or regular omelette with sausage inside). Overall they are located in a good place and has easy access to Baku city center.

Hotel is located at the heart of the old city and in walking distance to most of historical attractions and the famous Targovi area which is full of restaurant and shopping. The room and bathroom were large enough well furnished with comfortable bed and bench . some standard amenities like an electric kettle and complimentary tea/coffee, shower cap, tooth brush, shaving kit,tissue box were missing. Cleanliness was average; carpet was not clean, dust was visible over furniture and towels was not clean enough so hotel need to pay more attention to cleanness . The AC and safe was not working properly and the room was too cold and had to ask for service 3 times until they got it right. Breakfast was very basic with not much varieties, no self service tea/coffee. there was only one person serving guests at breakfast and waiting time was long and they were not recharging the finished items on the breakfast table .Hotel should add more staff for restaurant. The lift was small; the terrace bar/café works in summer and was closed at the time of our stay. One of the problems is that hotel is located inside the old city which is gated area and from time to time guards at the gate don't let outsider vehicles to enter so you have to walk from the gate to your hotel which can be a challenge if you are with luggage or heavy stuff. for us we arrived at a rainy day with shuttle bus from airport and guards did not let the bus in and they had to drop us at the gate with all luggages and we had to call the hotel to send someone to help us with luggages. You get 2 complementary water bottle every day which is good. Staff were generally ok and trying to help.
