I write this review on the last day in my room at the Heffterhof Hotel in Salzburg. I started my stay here with my family on a tour, but got sick with COVID on the night we arrived. From the following day, as my family had to continue on back to our country, the Heffterhof Hotel staff cared for me like family. From management to the front desk, from the kitchen to the cleaning staff, everyone pitched in and went out of their way to make my stay and recovery as comfortable as possible. This service required way more effort than the normal guest as I had no family there to help me. But they checked in on me and brought me food and drinks. They brought tissues and extra towels. They ordered food out for me when the kitchen was closed. Instead of being treated like someone in quarantine, I felt like a member of the family being helped back to health. Customer service is always important in the hospitality business, but when things are going really badly for the guest, the kind of support I received at Heffterhof Hotel means everything to you. Thanks so much to all the staff at Hoffterhof Hotel!

“Superb stay”

We stayed for 2 nights . Loved the ambiance, room interior. Appreciate the efforts to be ecofriendly as much as possible. Supportive, helpful staff. Breakfast spread was good. Thank you for the comfortable stay.

stayed there already a few times during the last years as it is located opposite my parents home. They keep continuing the same good level of service so you always know what to exspect. Rooms and hotel is really clean and well cared for though the room amenities are more 3 than 4 star, staff very friendly and helpful. But it is mostly a Seminar hotel and not mainly for tourists so thats ok. Though there are tourists as well as there is a big parking lot, quiet location and a bus stop opposite with a direct bus right into the center of the city. In my opinion the best thing is the breakfast with a big selection of everything.

Extremely friendly and professional staff. Rooms were very clean and cozy. Also, the parking lot is very convenient and it's free. Couple of things missing: 1) It looks like the hotel doesn't have air conditioner. At the time it was very stuffy almost everywhere. Especially at the corridors and in the room, This made the sleep quality not too good. Yes, there is a fan inside the room but still it's not the same. 2) There is no possibility to borrow any iron, so ironing your own cloths can be done only through an additional (paid) service.
