You can't beat the location for access to the old and new towns. There's a friendly and helpful front desk staff, a nice breakfast including eggs or waffles. OUr room was nice sized and comfortable. We had one on the inside so we didn't have the noise from the bars outside the front door. At times the room felt a bit warm, they have a fan but no A/C. We'd stay here again. The only thing I would suggest is bringing a travel-sized bottle of shampoo. In the shower they just have soap which left my hair feeling kind of dried out.

This is an awesome little hotel. The location is in easy walking distance to most main attractions in Salzburg. Very quiet yet close to the action. This is an awesome little hotel. The location is in easy walking distance to most main attractions in Salzburg. Very quiet yet close to the action. The breakfast is one of the best we experienced in our month long trek across Europe and same goes for the staff. We truly felt like we were at a home away from home. These are kind and helpful people running this hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable and there is an elevator. The one drawback is that our room had no air conditioning. Otherwise this was a perfect stay.

“Great location, amazing people”

This is a wonderful spot in perfect location. The staff went above and beyond to help our family when I messed something up with our travels. Lodging was accessible and immaculate. Luggage storage was very helpful. Breakfast was great too! Would love to return someday!

This is a very nice hotel in a perfect location. We spent two nights here and we were very impressed with the property. like most European hotels, the rooms are a little small, but they're well appointed, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the staff was super helpful. The included morning breakfast is very good, On the first morning I was disappointed there weren't hot items, and then I realized you could request scrambled eggs, fried eggs, and waffles, which I did, and they produced them almost immediately, and they were excellent. The location is close to all the shops and restaurants, the river and many historical sites. We hit them all. Salzburg is great city and this hotel in great place to stay. One small issue was that our room faced the back of the hotel and it wasn't a particularly attractive view and the tim roof on building Next to our room made sleeping in the rain difficult -if we wanted to keep our window open - which we did. I would suggest requesting a room on the street side. And there's no coffee/tea/hot water maker in the room or air conditioning, but there is a mini refrigerator.
