Very enjoyable stay there, the bed was very comfortable, plenty of hanging and shelf space, though not much in the way of drawer space. Good quality bedding and towels supplied, towels were changed each day, sheets changed during five night stay. Room very clean and fresh, as was shower room (although not much room for knees between loo and shower cabinet!). I had a little problem with a shelf above fridge, this was attended to immediately and thoroughly. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t use fitness or pool area so can’t comment on those. Only real negative was no English language TV channel, even one for News would have been useful. Would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if visiting Salzburg in future.

“Good location, rooms need refreshing!”

Great location just on the edge of the main shopping street in Salzburg. Breakfast buffet was good and the pool and bar and spa area fantastic. Great location just on the edge of the main shopping street in Salzburg. Breakfast buffet was good and the pool and bar and spa area fantastic. The resistance pool was not 'resisting', seemed to be out of order, but that made for a lovely pool to relax and swim in instead, which was still a really good size. The only negative is the room itself. We had a family room and although clean, it just felt a little outdated and dull, in need to a major refresh. It just didn't seem fitting with the rest of the hotel which was a shame. For the cost, we would probably look elsewhere if returning to Salzburg, unless those rooms get a much needed refurbishment.

A lot of very good things about this hotel. Clean, great position, very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. Maybe just the room we were in (41) but whoever designed the bathroom has never been in one! Shower cannot be poled up as hose to short and kinks ( for a 1m82cm person). There is barely a one pane spray shield for shower- water goes everywhere unless you stand in the cambered part of bath. Towels tiny and poor quality. Sink tap automatic turn off almost immediately you move hand away. No fan so mirrors useless after shower. Don’t let it put you off though. I would certainly return but ensure bathroom better.
