The soups are really delicious. The buffet breakfasts are a daily spread of enormous choice to keep you going all day. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and were cleaned daily. A lakeside cafe sits opposite ( run by the hotel) where you csn enjoy watching the lske or the amazing sunsets.You would pay a fortune for this quiet, peaceful lakeside location elsewhere. Frau Idinger and her family who run it are really kind and friendly, always there ready to help and sort out any problems. There is a nearby leisure centre with pool and spa if the weather is poor but swimming in the crystal clear lake surrounded by beautiful scenery, from the hotel's private deck ( complete with sunloungers) is a special experience! For the walker and cyclists there are many lovely walks and trails round the lake and beyond. I have stayed at this hotel many times and can just sum it up by saying that it is a very special idyllic 'gem' of an hotel in every way..
