Just got back from 4 nights at Tirolerhof and was very happy with the hotel. The staff were all very friendly - in particular Max at reception. It is a cosy family run hotel and I couldn't fault it. Despite being a 5 minute drive outside St Anton the free bus service from right outside the hotel is fantastic - a number 2 bus or 5 bus every 15-20 mins. We even used the free nightbus to get home after dinner which runs on the hour every hour. Our room was spacious and warm, bed was comfortable and shower was very powerful. Room was cleaned well every day and breakfast had a good selection of hot food - bacon sausage and scrambled egg, cold - continental meat, cheese, cucumber peppers, yoghurts and pastries/bread. Really handy and warm bootroom to dry out your skiboots overnight too. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

“Good place to stay”

This place is good to stay. A good bed, nice douche and food breakfast. Very friendly staff. When we arrived late in the evening we still could order food. Next day we got some passes to use for discount down town

The hotel was fine but could be so much better. Two of the staff were friendly and helpful. But others were moody and aloof. The hotel was fine but could be so much better. Two of the staff were friendly and helpful. But others were moody and aloof. The old lady who owns it makes you feel really unwelcome, as if you are intruding in her house rather than being a paying guest. The food was surprisingly good, and a big breakfast spread with fresh cheeses and bread as well as fruit, cereals and plenty of coffee. The thing this hotel needs is a lounge area. There is nowhere to relax and have a beer. A real shame. They could easily have a few sofas but instead you have to sit at a dinner table if you want a beer. And we were constantly asked if we wanted to order food so didn't feel as if we could just enjoy a beer. The beer was bad too. Dirty pipes. Rooms are OK though small. Plenty of good hot water in the showers. WiFi is very annoying as it logs you off every 4 hours and you have to log in again. Why did they decide that was a good idea? Overall, an OK hotel but could be much better with some simple changes and new management.
