My boyfriend and I stayed in Hotel Alpenhof for a week half board and we could not recommend it any more highly. We checked in late at night and they had very kindly kept some of the buffet for us. The owner was extremely welcoming and accommodating from the outset and throughout When booking we thought we were going to have a shared bathroom, arriving to a very spacious en suite room was a great surprise All of the staff went over and above to ensure you were welcomed, well fed and were very attentive to our needs Each night there was a different theme for the buffet. It was all so good that on the one night we had planned a fancy meal out, we still ended up eating in the hotel! Breakfast was a good selection of freshly cooked bread, eggs, cold meats, cereals and juice etc. Perfect way to start the day Hotel Alpenhof is homely, traditional and very well presented. The basement bar has very reasonably priced delicious local beer The free shuttle bus in and out of town stops literally outside the front door of the hotel which made life so easy as it is approx 15 min walk into town (and a steep uphill to get back!) Would 100% return to Hotel Alpenhof - thank you!!!

Just returned from St Anton. First things first, this is a 3 star hotel and so don't expect the facilities or cuisine of a 5 star hotel. However for a ski holiday it ticked all the boxes. 5 star service from great hosts. Varied tasty buffet cuisine certainly kept us fuelled up. Rooms were spotless,beds comfy, rooms spacious and great powerful showers. Room had satellite TV so when needing a rest was able to reacquaint myself with old episodes of the Sweeney! Nice bar with a great generous barman with drinks at reasonable prices plus a pool table and darts to keep us entertained after dinner. Good heated boot room with enough room. Nice Sauna and from the rooms at the front a great view from a balcony. We thought the location would be an issue but believe me with the local bus coming every 5 minutes during the peak times, stopping right out side it was better located than a number of other closer hotels as the bus route is on a loop. For St Anton at half term, great value for money. Definitely recommend it

“Charming hotel”

Half term ski with my wife. Couldn’t really fault much about this hotel apart from the fact its a little further out of town than we realised, nevertheless, the free ski bus is frequent and stops outside the hotel. Last free bus back from town is 6.25pm but there are paid alternatives after that.... more

Half term ski with my wife. Couldn’t really fault much about this hotel apart from the fact its a little further out of town than we realised, nevertheless, the free ski bus is frequent and stops outside the hotel. Last free bus back from town is 6.25pm but there are paid alternatives after that. Our room was warm & spacious and of a high standard, serviced daily, now unusual post COVID. Breakfast was limited but adequate and of good quality. Dinner was of a different theme each evening IE: Tex Mex, Greek, Italian, German etc. again of a good standard. Ski boot room was brilliant with excellent boot dryers. The staff are all great and engage well with the hotel guests, great work from the management and team. We hope to return.

“Friendly, clean , family run hotel definitely worth paying it a visit”

We were a party of 8, family and friends, including 2 pescatarians. We all found the hotel to be friendly, with clean, spacious rooms and plenty of hot water. We were a party of 8, family and friends, including 2 pescatarians. We all found the hotel to be friendly, with clean, spacious rooms and plenty of hot water. The pescatarians were very well looked after and had plenty to eat including their own vegetarian meal cooked for them on 3 separate occasions despite not mentioning this until we arrived at the hotel. The ski bus as mentioned picks you up directly outside the hotel and runs every 10 minutes, most convenient. Some of our party used the sauna and raved about it, so give it a go. I was a non skier this year so in addition caught the normal bus to both Lech & Zürs also from the hotel. The walk to the lake Verwall is definitely worth a mention if you want a break from skiing with a delightful restaurant en route. We found the Alpenhof to exceed our expectations especially for the price we paid.
