We spent two nights at this hotel . The hotel is perfectly located, right in the city center, everything is a walking distance, and the city is a joy to walk and unwind. Innsbruck has this aura of a complete relaxation thanks to the mountains surrounding the city and a peaceful vibe. Our room was of a decent size, not big, but good enough for three people (two adults and one child). The bathroom was spacious and smartly designed. The shower pressure was excellent. The hotel was renovated and looked modern inside. The cleanliness of this hotel is unparalleled: the room was spotless, the hallways were impeccable, the breakfast area was also perfect. Breakfast deserves a mentioning too: what a choice of fruits, breads, seafood, pastries, etc! Overall- a great place to spend a few days in Innsbruck. Thank you!

“Unexpected week's stay”

We had booked one night here prior to returning home after a week's skiing in St Anton. That changed a little when on the last run of the last day, my wife broke her leg seriously and had to have an operation in a clinic in Innsbruck. The hotel were superb. At short notice, they extended my stay for four days and then when my wife joined me, gave us a bigger room and arranged a wheelchair so she could go out until she was permitted to fly. The staff were really helpful, the room was comfortable and quieter than I expected being at the front and the breakfasts are incredible. We know the city well from previous visits, this was the first time we have stayed in this hotel. It won't be the last.

We stayed overnight on the way back to Germany following a holiday in Italy. The location of the hotel is excellent, the staff attentive and the rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast is a treat and covers every need of a family. My daughter lost a soft toy when we checked out. The staff spent the next 4 days combing the hotel and areas we were in, found the toy and made above and beyond effort in finding it, and returned with a personalized note and treats to boot for the kids! I would highly recommend the hotel, and we will visit again for sure!

A lovely hotel ideally located on the edge of the old town and close to MarktPlatz where you can pick up the ‘hop-on-hop-off’ bus. Also there is a nice little bar opposite! We purchased a 2 day Innsbruck Card which we made good use of. We stayed during the low season so our room was available when we arrived at about 1.30pm. We had a king size double room overlooking the street on the fifth floor, we were told our room was changed from one with a bath to one with a shower? Fortunately we prefer a shower. Our room on the top floor was neat and tidy with some nice touches - bottle of water, a chocolate on the bed and a chocolate biscuit. The room seemed a bit small perhaps because it had a lot of furniture in it -a sofa bed, two arm chairs and a table. There was’nt a lot of shelf space for clothes and we thought it would be a tight squeeze for three people! The bathroom was also quite small but had a very good shower with lots of hot water. One annoyance was the magnifying mirror in front of the main mirror, which was not adjustable and frankly got in the way. We had breakfast in the hotel, the range of fruit on offer was really impressive, possibly the best we have experienced. The range of food in general was also very good, so breakfast was very enjoyable. It does not have a restaurant. The staff at reception and around the hotel were welcoming and helpful, there was a bar next to the reception but we never saw anyone using it. The reception area, perhaps because it was the low season, seemed rather clinical and soulless. Would we return to Hotel Maximilian, most certainly.
