“Lovely Hotel-pension right near the centre of Sóll”

I satyed here with my partner in january 2017. The hotel is run by a lovely family who are very welcoming. The rooms are pretty basic but very clean, and towels are changed & room cleaned every day. Breakfast is continental, cold meats & cereal with a boiled egg most days. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the centre of Sóll, and there is a bus stop nearby for the ski bus.

“Great location and friendly owner”

Just returned from a week skiing in Soll. Found this B&B to be warm, clean, friendly and in a great location! It's a couple of minutes walk from ski condolla, restaurants and supermarket. Breakfast was typical Austrian stlye of meats, cheese and bread. Found the owner to be very attentive and quite funny. It's by no means 5 star and is dated and basic but it is clean and warm and the beds were comfortable. I certainly slept well each night after a day on the slopes! Plenty of hot water for showers and the room was serviced regularly. I would return!

“Ok for a cheap, no frills holiday in a good location.”

We stayed in Pension Konrad in March, about two weeks before the end of the ski season in Soell. The lady who greeted us was friendly and spoke a little bit of English. I speak a little bit of German so between us conversing wasn't an issue (her English was much better than my German!). She showed us around before taking us to our room, which was at the front of the property looking out onto a quiet side road. The initial impression was that the pension has recently changed ownership and as a result, although the room and public areas were clean and tidy, overall the rooms and bathrooms need upgrading and the public areas perhaps need a bit of redecorating and reorganising. There was enough storage space in the room, the shower was good and the towels changed mid-week. We also had a decent sized balcony. There wasn't a boot room, but shelving at the top of the stairs leading to an underground garage which is where skis are stored. There was a radiator under the shelving but our boots never felt warm in the morning. Breakfast was basic but enough to fill you up - bread rolls, toast, cheese, ham, jam, cereal, juice, cake, occasionally eggs and tea/coffee. The breakfast room was nice and bright with doors opening out to the front of the pension. There's a couple of little snug areas off the main hallway with an open fireplace, though it wasn't lit when we were there. There's no lift in the property so you have to carry your suitcases up one or two flights of stairs. The pension didn't seem to have many guests as it was late in the season for Soell, however there was a family of four staying on our floor with two incredibly noisy, unruly children who were up and running about making noise from about 0600 hours - the walls seem very thin, it sounded like they were running about with concrete boots on! This also continued into breakfast but thankfully they left the day after we arrived. We only saw another two guests the rest of the week. In my opinion the pension is in a decent location, about 10 min walk from to the centre of Soell, so nice and quiet. The large Impreis supermarket is about a 5 min walk away, just across the main road at the back of the pension. There is also a Baguette cafe there which sell decent snacks. There is a ski bus stop right outside the pension, however, it's a limited service. So, we walked across to the Hotel Eggerwirt (5-10 min, depending if you're carrying skis and/or in ski boots) every morning and got the earliest bus we could as we like to be on the first gondola. It's the 3rd from last stop so be aware later buses will be busier. The closest ski hire shop is probably a 10-15 min walk, depending if you're carrying skis or not. There are two ski hire shops closer to the gondola which also have storage facilities. The SkiWelt area is superb, you can ski up to 7/8 villages in a day are there are very few queues, maybe a minute or two, max. This season in mid-March is was very cold, between -4 to -11 and we had fresh snow 4-5 days. Last year at the same time the temps were 10+, bluebird days every day. About an hour transfer from Innsbruck and a couple of hours from Salzburg. The SkiWelt is also close to the Kitzbueler Alpen and the SkiJuwel ski areas. This was our 6th visit to Soell and we'll no doubt be back. I would have no problem staying here again - yes it's outdated but it's clean, friendly, in a good location and we didn't starve. It was our 3rd ski hol in the season so we wanted cheap and that's what we got.

“Friendly and did the job ”

Me and my boyfriend stopped here and weren't disappointed it did what it said on the tin! Room and bathroom were tidy and well maintained. We have definitely stopped in worst places. The breakfast was good and the gentleman who runs it was nice and always offering tea and coffee. The only judgement… more

Me and my boyfriend stopped here and weren't disappointed it did what it said on the tin! Room and bathroom were tidy and well maintained. We have definitely stopped in worst places. The breakfast was good and the gentleman who runs it was nice and always offering tea and coffee. The only judgement I could really make is that the television was tiny and old(we didn't need it that much anyway as we were skiing all day so not a big deal) the bathroom was small but clean and had everything we needed.
