Excellent choice, the food was great and tasty and the staff was also very friendly and professional. Normal prices also! The hotel was also very good, we stayed for 6 nights starting from the 3th of January. The hotel is very clean. 2 big parking places, a lot of cars can park. Very close to the Center (Stadt Platz) - where the skibus is leaving.

“Beautiful place.”

We only stopped here for a coffee and a cake but we are very glad we did so. The whole place is very well appointed and the restaurant area at the rear has superb views to soak up while you sip your coffee. We only stopped here for a coffee and a cake but we are very glad we did so. The whole place is very well appointed and the restaurant area at the rear has superb views to soak up while you sip your coffee. The staff were perfectly charming and helpful and the light meals delicious and we'll proportioned making for a very pleasant visit and as such we hope to stay one day in the future.

“Very good Austrian food”

A very good restaurant with friendly and attentive service, a nice room and a menu with plenty of Austrian specialities. A comfortable place to spend a nice evening. I need to write more characters, apparently, but have already said what I mean.

Stegerbräu is nice hotel in beautiful town of Radstadt which is easily accessed by main road or from local railway station. Hotel consists of 2 buildings: the historical brewery and interconnected newer hotel building . Apparently the decor of our room was a bit outdated but still functional and clean. Room pictures in hotel website give slightly better impression of the rooms but anyway rooms were better than I expected. Staff is helpful and they speak good English. There is good breakfast buffet and they also offer an option for half-board that comes in form of snack + buffet dinner. We had the breakfast option and decided to eat in the hotel restaurant instead as the food selection there was extensive and very reasonably priced. Our family of 4 was easily accommodated in one spacious room with comfortable beds. Opportunity to use sauna premises after a day of skiing was great. With free ski bus you get to the Flachau and Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski resorts. Larger Reiteralm is within 15 minutes drive and it is connected to Planai-Hochwurzen area by ski lifts. Local resort is less crowded than Planai area and can be recommended as well. And Radstadt is definitely cheaper option for equipment rental than Reiteralm/Planai. Same ticket is valid in all resorts of the region which gives you options to choose if you travel by car. Hotel offers also free storage for skis and drying facility for boots which makes the vacation easier and more comfortable.
