Clean, high ceilings, bath tub, very good wifi, friendly staff, very good location - parking at 5-7 min @14e/day (one of the cheapest in Vienna). The breakfast .. ok. We were pleased since we came to visit the city and wanted to spend as much time as possible in museums, parks, on the streets. So the main aspect that we loved about the place was cleanliness. In certain conditions, some visitors may not like: no refrigerator, no air conditioning, not very fresh aspect of walls and furniture. The third bed in our triple was not actually a bed but an extending chair.. did the job but not as comfy as a real bed. The breakfast was quite dull, but was helpful. some eggs would’t hurt as a starter for a day - or something local. i mean, it’s a fair meal but with supermarket food. Walking distance to: Museums Quartier, House of the Sea (Haus des Meeres), shopping streets, other museums, parks. Very friendly and helpful staff.

“Great location!”

The hotel is no frills but the rooms and communal areas are clean. The breakfast is plain fare but adequate. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is very good, just over the road from the Museums Quarter. I would definitely stay here again.

As many have said, the big selling point of this hotel is its location - turning right out of the entrance and up a nice set of stone stairs leads you to a large shopping street with many of the usual brands you are accustomed to. As many have said, the big selling point of this hotel is its location - turning right out of the entrance and up a nice set of stone stairs leads you to a large shopping street with many of the usual brands you are accustomed to. Shortly down this street is an underground stop. Perfect. The hotel itself is like an another time period - very old and dated - its like walking into a care home in terms of decor. Check in was easy enough, pleasant staff at reception throughout. The rooms are basic - squeaky beds, terrible pillows, TV, an actual modern looking bathroom (with hairdryer), TV and decent amount of wardrobe space. One interesting addition ive not come across before is an outdoor shutter you can control from inside which comes down and provides complete darkness thus you aren't woken by the sun in the morning. A nice touch. A thing to remember when checking out is that there isn't much storage space for luggage and if you think the station has lots of lockers you'd be mistaken - get your bag in early if you're on a late flight out. Overall, a nice place to stay, supported really by its great location.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a group of 20 odd singers and musicians. The hotel was advertised as 2* and this is justified due to the limited services and amenities on offer. Rooms were a good size with adequate facilities, hotel was clean and well kept in general, if a little dated. Location is great for getting into the city, walking distance. Breakfast very simple, but again, for the price I had no complaints. Reception staff friendly and helpful, English limited.
