“Geblergasse hotel, Vienna good value for money”
The hotel is a proper "best buy". The room and all the decor are basic, but very spacious for this type of hotel, and with a proper wardrobe you can actually store all your clothes in. The hotel is a proper "best buy". The room and all the decor are basic, but very spacious for this type of hotel, and with a proper wardrobe you can actually store all your clothes in. Everything is clean and comfortable. Room's are cleaned every day, towels changed, too, if you wish it. Staff is accomodating and unobtrusive. The only small minus in my wiev- the one time I don't bring my hair dryer is the one time hotel doesn't have one! :) There is an underground garage in a building across the street, which is a huge plus in a city like this. You pay extra for using it, though, but it's wort it in my view. The street is quiet, with not much traffic. The nearest U-bahn station (their Metro) is very near and the public transport is excellent. Beware, the face masks are still obligatory in all public transport. The fine for not wearing one is 50 euros. (November 2022.) Nothing is cheap in Vienna, and you shouldn't expect it to be, but this hotel offers good value for money.

Well, overall the experience has been fantastic, both in Wien and in the hotel. Regarding the hotel, the staff was kind and available when needed, and the breakfast service was good too. Even though the breakfast is not included in the booking (you can either choose to purchase all the tickets in once or day by day), I think that is worth it because you can find whatever you'd like to eat so as to get well started the day (it's an international breakfast). To conclude, what else to say: I'd recommend this place to other friends and people when they want to enjoy a vacation in Wien without having to spend so much money whilst enjoying a good 3 star hotel with several amenities available. Definitely 4/5 stars worth it all!
