Top service, genuine friendliness of the hotel and restaurant staff, top breakfast with a breathtaking view of the beautiful cathedral. Excellent Caffe Giacomo Aragall. Clean, large room with a very spacious bathroom. Many small details in the room that count. We will definitely come back soon.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel at the end of November and I can see why it scores so highly on here, it is absolutely perfect! In advance of our arrival we received some extremely helpful emails from the hotel, including some restaurant recommendations and a suggestion that, given the time of year, we should book a table at the restaurants we wanted to go to. That proved to be very good advice which we are glad we followed! Our room was located on the 7th floor, it was extremely spacious and comfortable with fabulous views of the cathedral from our balcony. The windows had outside blinds in addition to the inside curtains which did a very good job at keeping the light out and the sound proofing is fantastic, we weren't disturbed at all by the many people outside or by the bells of the cathedral which I was very impressed with. The breakfast room also offers wonderful views of the cathedral and a vast range of delicious hot and cold food and good quality coffee. They also put cute little notes with my daily coffee which I thought was lovely and I looked forward to reading them each morning! The hotel is extremely sleek and modern with great little features like an automated lift that knows your floor number from scanning your key card, they also gave us a couple of sweet little gifts (small wine glasses when we arrived and a little jar of jam when left). I think it is all these thoughtful little touches that makes this hotel unique. The location is very central which makes it easy to get anywhere you want to, we went specifically to visit the Christmas markets and were able to visit 6 during our stay. Overall, an absolutely fabulous hotel which I cannot recommend enough! if we ever travel back to Vienna we will definitely be staying here.

The staff was pleasant, fun, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. The room was extremely clean and quiet, with a mini bar that was refilled for free, every day. Red wine, prosecco, cookies, chips and Pez of all things, so fun! The location was beyond compare, directly across from St. Stephens, right on the square. One very cool thing was that on the TV you have a live feed channel that shows you the square, so you can see how busy everything is, or is not, and when to go out, and it is just a beautiful view. We stayed in a Suite and the room was HUGE! We loved the seating area, with a separate bedroom. Also, the toilet was in its own room and the bathing room had a tub and a shower! The breakfast was free, it had a variety of foods, and they were all fresh and delicious. They also have a coffee bar, and will make you any type of coffee or, hot chocolate. Now for the slight negatives, the beds were very hard, and the room was far too hot. On the positive side, there were so many windows you could easily regulate the temperature by opening and closing windows. The Gym was not a real gym, there were three machines, so close to each other as to be uncomfortable. There was a rowing machine, a bike and a treadmill, that only allowed for uphill running otherwise it did not move. Yes, there were weights but no real place to lift. Those were the only things that could be taken as "Bad". The entire experience was fantastic, we could not have been happier and quite frankly, this hotel has spoiled us for any other hotel.

“Very very nearly perfect”

The location is perfect - right opposite the spectacular St Stephans cathedral and an easy walk to the Hofburg Palace, Spanish Riding School and numerous restaurants & shops. This is a fabulous hotel - everything is just great. The location is perfect - right opposite the spectacular St Stephans cathedral and an easy walk to the Hofburg Palace, Spanish Riding School and numerous restaurants & shops. When we were there in late November there was also a a lovely Christmas market just opposite in the cathedral courtyard. The staff are superb - really excellent service from everyone we encountered. Breakfast was also very good and my request for gluten free options was no problem at all. Our suite was lovely, spacious and very well fitted, Only one tiny gripe - the bath towels could be bigger! That aside i think it was perfect in every way.
