We stayed at the Austria Trend hotel Beim Theresianum for four nights while in Vienna. Check in was fast and easy. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The location is close to the main train station and the underground. Also a reasonably priced grocery store is across the street (closed on Sunday). The only drawback was breakfast, exactly the same every day. It would have been nice for it to be changed slightly each day.

We booked junior suite on the highest floor. Two rooms that made the suite were very clean and had two bathrooms, and also four single beds (two were pushed together to make sort of queen bed).Bed quality was very good though, so our sleep was good. Room also had access to the terrace, which was nice to have, as only AC heating was on, and we could make room a bit more cold and had better air quality. Breakfast was more on the basic side, but had all the necessities. Parking is convenient under the hotel and not too expensive.

A good 3 night stay and only a few mins walk from Hauptbahnhof station and the U1 underground. Friendly staff, nice room, comfy bed but milk not replenished and room phone not working. 2 supermarkets opposite to get stuff from so that was a bonus. We walked approximately a mile or so to the city centre and then everything is there for you. Breakfast was 15 Euro each if booked on arrival but 20 Euro each if not. We had breakfast on the way to the centre each day for half that price. We had 4 jam packed days and went to Bratislava fro Hauptbahnhof one day and back on the twin city catamaran. I cannot fault this citybreak and the hotel would of got 5 stars if phone worked and milk sorted. Minor I know but an irritation. Airport S network goes straight into Hauptbahnhof which is a plus. Decent shower and a comfy bed

The location is located right outside the central city and very close to U1 line and trams, so convenient with a WienMobil card. The hotel is clean and the facilities are modern, but it's more functional than warm or attractive. The breakfast (included for me) was decent, although more veggies and variety would have been nice. I guess you get what you pay for. The room size was adequate for my needs. There is a nice green space outside the breakfast area which might be pleasant in warmer weather. I was bothered that only one front desk staff member was seen smiling. And he was not from Austria. My Austrian friends tell me grumpy behavior is a feature of Vienna, not a bug. The staff were competent and efficient but, as I said, not so cheerful. I'd probably stay again for the price and location, but not because of the breakfast or because they made me feel welcome. The hotel has a minimal bar and no room service, so late night socialising in the lobby was not cozy. There was room for improvement there. There are plenty of shops nearby, but nothing open late.
