“Functional for a business traveller”

It's a strange mix between student accommodation and super budget hotel. The rooms are very small but have a private bathroom. My room had a balcony which allowed for the doors to be opened in the evening letting in a lovely breeze, otherwise it would have been an absolute oven. The decor is very 1973 in the rooms - think orange furnishings and wood, wood and more wood. The rooms are cleaned everyday but that consists of making the bed, emptying the bin and changing the towels - I don't know how often the floors are swept or the bathrooms cleaned, but they weren't dirty, just a bit old. The breakfast is fine, coffee (or the Austrian version thereof), bread, meats/cheese, cereals, yoghurt, juice. The staff look like students employed for the summer and they are helpful and polite but a little clueless. It's an easy walk everywhere, and the tram is a street away. If you aren't planning spending much time in your hotel room due to business and want to save some money, I would recommend it - it's in a nice safe area and I felt nice and safe in my room.

Basic hotel in a very good location, not far from City Hall, the Ring and the MuseumsQuartier. The price of accommodation is okay (for Vienna). Room was very basic, old and quite small. Very small bathroom. Please note that this is not a typical hotel, but a student dormitory used as a hotel during the summer, so the standard is adequate. Recommended for backpackers and budget travellers.

I and my girl friend stopped in this hotel for one night. The hotel has very good location. It is possible to reach the Ring in 5-10 minutes by a tram, then it is possible to go to the city center on foot 10-15 minutes or on public transport. From hotel it is possible to reach a stop of a tram on foot in 5 minutes. The hotel building is old, repair wasn't, this student's hostel. Rooms are small, furniture is old, but all pure, beds are convenient. we slept well. In a bathroom all are pure and works regularly. Breakfast was standard, continental: sausage, cheese, bread, eggs, tea, coffee. we had well breakfast. Before a trip we wrote the e-mail to hotel, asked early check in, as a result we had early check in in the morning without an additional payment. In a hall of hotel there is free wi-fi. we remained are happy with hotel, considering that money which for it paid.

Our expectations weren't that high given the price and the fact that the hotel is student accommodation during the school year. The room is small, but big enough for two people who only slept at the hotel. Beds were comfortable but could have done with some spare pillows. The bathroom was also on the small side. The corridors were VERY echoey so sleep quality wasnt great. People should obviously respect others and try to keep it down when returning to their rooms, but some insulation of some sort would be good. Breakfast was included and was adequate. I found the staff a little vague and uninformed. They were also playing music and singing along when I was trying to concentrate using the internet in the foyer (as there is no wifi in the rooms). You could walk to the main area of Vienna if you felt like a good walk, but otherwise, there is a metro not too far. A nice quiet neighbourhood though, where I felt safe to walk through at 5am. Would recommend only if you were on a tight budget.
