A 3* hotel in a quiet place, full of joy and satisfaction 😊😉 If you do not mind to stay at some km distance from the slopes (Amade area), this 3* hotel, Schwaiger from Eben im Pongau offers at a very attractive prices a good location, kind people, relaxation, spacious and very clean rooms and also a good breakfast and dinner served in a traditional restaurant. The parking is enough (in front of the hotel or behind, some places in open space and others covered). First of all, I’ve appreciated the atmosphere (everything was prepared for the end year🎄🥂🥳), the kindness of the owners who are very nice people, always ready to satisfy all your needs. It’s amazing how they succeed to satisfy all their customers! They are helpful, fast and pleasant. They also speak English😉 that was a great advantage because our German was not at a good level🙃 We’ve decided very late to visit Austria (a month before) and Eben im Pongau was recommended to us by a friend of us as being a pleasant sky area, full with everything that everybody needs in this season: plenty of slopes, for various levels, quality and space for all visitors. Not finding rooms on Booking or airbnb, we’ve called at various hotels, all fully booked or not having rooms for the entire period that we were looking for; they offered to put us on a waiting list, without making us any promise☹️ The owner of this hotel was able to satisfy in a very professional way our needs by offering us availability (a suite for our family and two rooms for our friends). The beds were comfortable and the location was really quiet at night even if it is near of the train station or in front of a street. Near the hotel there are shops, supermarket or pharmacy. You can find also Amade Therme that we didn’t visit as for us the saunas from the hotel were enough: very relaxing after a long day on the slopes 🏂😉 The distance between the hotel and various slopes area was about 15-30 minutes by car if you are looking for blue or red slopes. For the beginners you can choose Monte Popolo that is at 5-7 minutes away from the hotel. All in all, if you do not mind to use the car to get the slopes, the location and the hotel are perfect: we really felt like home here and we were very satisfied here! We highly recommend this hotel for the hospitality of the hosts and the beautiful landscape!
