“Best Location in Launceston”
Great establishment, Central location. Friendly staff who are always happy to help. Buffet breakfast is fantastic. Only downside was The beds ,They where not very comfy. Felt like we where sinking. Both the wife and share the same thought. Overall 4.5 star

“Grand Old Chancellor”
The hotel was charming, well located and we enjoyed our stay, even if just for one night. There were 4 of us and we had adjoining rooms on the top floor. The hotel is a little dated, but that’s ok, it’s not a sterile box hotel and the rooms and beds are very comfortable.

“Grand Chancellor Launceston”
We were disappointed with our stay at this hotel. There were a number of things that went wrong. The room’s temperature was too hot, I reported it to reception, was told that it would be fixed but it wasn’t. Couldn’t get a decent night sleep any night. “Good for a transit stay”
For a so-called Executive twin room, the room is quite small and the overall decor is very outdated. The room was also advertised with seasonal fruits and water on arrival but there was only bottled water in the room and no fruits.
