“A wonderful week”

I stayed a week and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The hotel had prepped my room for my stay. I had enough hangers for my shirts, pants, and pyjamas. The room was well serviced. The gym was good. So was the restaurant. I flew in late and was there at 9:45 pm on a Saturday. The chef cooked my steak (medium) very well indeed. It’s one of my best steaks and I was tempted to return. It was a little expensive though. The location is good, staff helpful. Yes, I do recommend it.

“Excellent stay”

We had a great 2 night stay at the Sheraton. We stayed in a slightly dearer room with lounge access which was worth it. We had a great 2 night stay at the Sheraton. We stayed in a slightly dearer room with lounge access which was worth it. The room was large, bed was very comfortable, bathroom spacious and overall very clean. The lounge access was exceptional. It's open all day for soft drinks and water plus nibbles. It's also open for breakfast, although we ate in the main dining area for breakfast. Between 5 and 7pm, there is free drinks (alcohol) plus food. Now, by food I don't just mean snacks. There are those of course but there were enough mains that you did not have to go out for dinner. There was steamed barramundi, lamb chops, steak, prawns, prawn gow, salads, cheeses and deserts including a worlds best black forest cake. Unfortunately the pool was closed for 2 days due to maintenance. Patrons should have been emailed this (easy to do) or at least put on the website. I won't downgrade the rating but they should be more open with these things. Breakfast had everything you could want including a fruit and vege juice stand where they could make a juice for you. There is also barista coffee that would be delivered to you. Unfortunately they use Vittoria coffee which a lot of hotels use and is rather ordinary and a mass produced product but hey, it's better than the machine coffee. All the staff were very friendly and not over the top. All in all, an excellent stay and I would stay here again if I ever stayed overnight in Sydney.

if you are considering a downtown CBD location within Sydney, you can’t go wrong with these Sheraton grand. Across from the Hyde Park metro stop and on the Hyde Park as well. This location is well suited for both business and holiday visits. It’s about a five minute walk to amazing shopping. – David Jones, Louis Vuitton, every luxury brand you’ve ever heard of. Also nearby is an enormous shopping district with numerous stores, chemists, restaurants, and of course, there are literally dozens of places to get exceptional Sydney coffees We walked through Hyde Park to go to Paddington and visit the market there on a Saturday, about 20 minute walk. We also cut through Hyde Park to go to the Royal botanical garden, which are extremely beautiful. From there, you can go to finger wharf, a lively area with many restaurants or head towards Sydney Opera House. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to Circular Quay, where you can pick up trains, as well as ferries to every destination. In addition to a fabulous location this hotel features an amazing breakfast/brunch. The staff at the restaurant. as well as the staff throughout the hotel are friendly and professional. Should our travels take us back to Sydney? We will come and visit here again.

Checking in was a snap, the desk clerk was delightful and very helpful. My room was excellent, bed was lovely and comfortable. I ordered some ice and mixers and it arrived in a timely manner. Checking in was a snap, the desk clerk was delightful and very helpful. My room was excellent, bed was lovely and comfortable. I ordered some ice and mixers and it arrived in a timely manner. Breakfast was sooooo good, there were many choices and it was excellent. Hotel is in a wonderful position, we walked and saw the sights. Sheraton is not a cheap hotel, but I felt I got what I paid for. Cannot compliment the staff enough, well done the your HR department Sheraton.
