“Awesome”

The apartment was great with everything we needed , washing machine and dryer , oven , microwave etc . lovely balcony with nice view and we really enjoyed the pool . Location awesome and we felt really looked after . We would definitely stay here again if revisiting Sydney .

“Great location, Price, but horrid beds”

Please Please please get mattress toppers, everything else was great but those beds are rock hard. I ended up adding the couch cushion to try and get a little sleep, all 6 of us wouldn't return only due to beds Which is ashamed as the hotel has a lot going for it for the price

It met my needs. That about sums it up. Were there issues? Yup. Disasters? No. Pros:: Location. Less than a 5 minute walk from my son's apartment. 15 minute walk (uphill) to the Redfern train station A few yummy cafés in short proximity, but they close at 3p. Less than a 5 minute walk from my son's apartment. 15 minute walk (uphill) to the Redfern train station A few yummy cafés in short proximity, but they close at 3p. Laundry in the room is priceless. Bed was comfortable Love the electric water boiler and the instant coffee was tasty. The pool area was nicely done, but it did not feel heated and the hot tub was not functioning The staff was polite & courteous. Cons:: bathroom door was broken-I shut the bathroom door and the handle literally fell on the floor. My son thankfully was in the living room, came to my rescue, only to have the outside handle fall out too. But he's smart and got the door open. I reported the problem, but told them i disnt need it fixed. The parts to the door were left out for the duration of my stay. The tiles/grout are dirty, worn, chipping, missing. Bring shower shoes. There were leaves and cobwebs on the balcony. When housekeeping was done (1x/week) they took all the towels, but gave me no replacements, and by the time I returned to find this out, the staff was gone. Also not refilled/replaced; toilet paper, kleenex, coffee, sugar. I left a note with the front desk when I was going out and all was left in my room upon my return. Only 1 reading lamp for a bed designed for 2. No room in shower for toiletries. There's 1 (rusty) soap dish. I went out & bought a hanging basket for the shampoo, conditioner, razor, etc. Needs a new dishwasher. After a full cycle the cups were still dirty. I handwashed them and used the dw for "sanitation ". Staff at the front desk 9a-4 or 5p. That's it. No one overnight. TLDR:: Fine if you're not fussy. It was manageable for my needs, but probably wouldn't stay again unless it was updated.
