Was apprehensive after reading some reviews but my advice is to ignore them. The room was excellent - very spacious and good bed. Aircon/heating was easy to operate - one downside to mention is that the hot water disappears around 8am - so take your shower late in the day or early in the morning. Reception was faultless - breakfast was limited but for $12 nothing to complain about. Cereals, fruit, boiled eggs, ham, cheese for toastie maker - as well as a couple of cakes, jams and breads. Orange juice and cold milk with unlimited various coffees from a machine. Location is fine - a short bus ride to Town Hall using your own contactless card cost just $1. Takes just under 30 minutes to walk to Darling Harbour which is turn left and walk in a straight line. In the opposite direction, it is 100m to Kings Cross with lots of restaurants bars etc as well as Coles supermarket. Can recommend the Indian restaurant on the corner.

The room was rather small and narrow which was probably why it was categorized as budget but the beds, beverages, cleanliness were all commendable The breakfast buffet included with the room was generous and the individually-prepared coffee was what you would find in a fancy place One bad interaction with the kitchen manager though on my last day was disappointing

“Budget hotel with lots of perks”

Booked this knowing it was a small space…Fairly easy to find and is close to kings cross station. We inquired about leaving our luggage until we returned to check in and even though it was quite early in the morning our room was ready and they allowed us to check in early. THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Booked this knowing it was a small space…Fairly easy to find and is close to kings cross station. We inquired about leaving our luggage until we returned to check in and even though it was quite early in the morning our room was ready and they allowed us to check in early. THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Room was very clean, furnished ok. Bathroom tight but doable. Linens clean, large fluffy towels. WiFi worked well, A/C good, mattress quite comfy, breakfast more than adequate and certainly more than we expected. Good room to eat but at times quite busy so you need to eat in the waiting area. Reception helpful.

The rooms are incredibly small with no out of the way storage for luggage or bags. This makes walking around the bed impossible. The rooms are incredibly small with no out of the way storage for luggage or bags. This makes walking around the bed impossible. Two rooms in our group had horrible smells and the others such bad road noise that sleeping was difficult. Breakfast was dismal with far too many groups and no seating. Ok on cleanliness but things are literally falling off the walls and held up by tape. One washing machine oj floor 5 for multiple floors, not even close to enough. Staff is very helpful and that’s the 3 stars.
