The man on reception was pleasant and willing to assist us any way he could. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are travelling by train or going to the university.

“Clean, Quiet room, Great location and Great staff”

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights our room was on the 6th floor it was a huge room with huge bed and crisp clean sheets, a huge smart tv and super fast wifi it had a great view of central station. However we noticed the door would not lock as we were about to leave the room, I went to reception where I reported it to Joseph, he came to the room straight away with me and said yes there was a problem and would move us to a new room straight away which was equally as good. The bed was so comfy with great quality pillows and it was so quiet we could not hear anything from outside. We will definitely stay here again apart from the location, cleanliness and price its the staff which are so good, thanks Joseph for being so helpful, responsive and and chirpy

Superior King Room Pros: - Free coffee, tea, sugar sachets (although they don't have salt and pepper, I have asked). - Free milk and coffee grounds. - Private bathroom! It's so hard to find good accommodation with private bathroom in Sydney while still having reasonable price. This is one of the deal breaker for me because I was travelling with older parent and we also used the bathroom quite a lot to clean up and wash some clothes and dishes ourselves. - Towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet papers are provided for free. - Safe box and fridge provided. - Lots of electrical outlets. - Close to light rail stations and central station. Cons: - AC smells weird, like outdated perfume. Lifts also smell the same. - Spare blankets also smell weird like stored in garage for a long time. - Lightning is poor. Center part of the room has no lamps so we need to rely on lamps on the side and corner parts. - Hotel is locked in the evening, probably after 9 pm? No/less staffs during this time until morning. I mistakenly booked non-refundable room and tried to cancel: - I actually have mistakenly booked this hotel through Agod4 without being refundable (Platform being sneaky, they have written the first part of the description as "refundable" but then actually not all rooms are refundable. And instead of writing "non-refundable" for the rooms, they have written "cancellation policy". Me being naive booked this room without reading twice). I wanted to flexibility during my travel, so I asked the platform if they can refund, since it's not even 24 hours yet since I booked. They refused since they said hotel said no, although they later offered half refund to Agod4 cash. Later I asked the hotel itself but they said they cannot do refund if booked through Agod4. I replied if there is anything I can do, but the hotel didn't reply anymore. Now that, the stay itself was actually nice, and I didn't regret the booking, but the lack of customer support is something you need to be aware of. Although, I also blamed Agod4 for that. Cleaning: - They don't give cleaning services if you book less than one week. A bummer, although we do try to make our own room as clean as possible during the stay. - Needed to put trash bags outside our room ourselves. Needed to ask for more trash bags at hotel counter. Staff: - Some are genuinely nice and try to help you as much as possible, some are less nice, or maybe they just don't know how to solve certain problems. Generally they are quite friendly. Price: - Hotel is quite pricey if you compare it to backpacker hotels or cheaper airbnb. But then again, given the amenities, it's worth the cost. It's just that it's not budget-friendly for people looking for the cheapest.
