“BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PORT DOUGLAS”
Cannot recommend Oaks highly enough. Everything spot on and unbelievable value. Would definitely stay again if given the chance.

We could not fault The Oaks, we had a pleasant stay and experience. We will absolutely be returning.

“Great stay”
The resort is really nice, the one-bedroom apartments (I've booked two) were great, clean and comfortable. Facilities (pool, restaurants, games room, etc.) and staff friendliness were the highlights.

“Not that great”
staff were great but the whole place is really dated. we chose this hotel for the swim up bar, but its really old, not well stocked, couldnt even get a cocktail, just luke warm beer.

“Needs updating”
This resort probably was very nice at one time. It is not being kept up. The landscaping is all overgrown into the walkways, dead leaves on plants, pathways are not swept of debris. We never saw anyone working in the pool area, it did not look clean, there was a ring of black around the pool edges.… more
