Very pleased with our stay. Only problem was finding somewhere to eat not knowing the area. We did travel by tram on the Saturday morning.

We stayed in the three bedroom apartment, was a fantastic apartment for the 6 of us. We each had our own bed, the apartment was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Would highly recommend

We stayed to attend the Princess Theatre. The hotel is in a great location with a short walk to trams. Check-in was simple, reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a two night stay. A good value for money stay.

We booked a standard suite and were impressed with how spacious it was. However, it soon became apparent that there was no effective soundproofing in the bedroom, which was street facing and even on the 7th floor was so noisy that sleep was impossible. For context, we've stayed in plenty of less than perfect accommodation and have never complained or asked to move rooms - until now. A subsequent perusal of the 2 star reviews shows that noise is a common complaint among reviewers. Bring earplugs if you think it could bother you, otherwise book a much quieter executive suite. When we asked at reception to be moved to a quieter room, we were told there were no equivalent suites but we could upgrade at our own cost, which was disappointing give that we were booked in for 11 nights which included the AFL Grand Final weekend. However, when I provided feedback through the 'is your stay effortless' survey, William, the hotel manager contacted us immediately and organised to move us to a different room. His quick response was really impressive. The room was an upgrade to an executive suite, which was larger, but more importantly, much quieter. We were also offered a two bedroom apartment and late checkout, but neither of those were necessary. Once we were in a quieter room, our stay was greatly improved. The bed was comfy and we slept very well, the suite spacious, the water pressure and temperature of the shower are excellent. The kitchen and laundry are greatly appreciated on longer trips. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent but we really didn't need a daily service. Hotel is centrally located and walking distance to everywhere.
