“Highly recommend”
Hostel is in the middle of Cairns and close to everything. The bar, restaurant and the pool are great and a great spot to have lunch or drinks with friends. Restaurant serves really good pub food. Comfortable & clean rooms. Highly recommend.

“Big and modern hostel”
Big and modern hostel that has everything you could want in one place! There’s so much going on there is never a dull moment. Perfect location with clean rooms and common areas. Big pool and poolside bar, parties every night & the best pool parties!

Great location! Close to the supermarket and right in the centre of Cairns, just a quick walk to Rusty’s Market, the Esplanade, and the Reef Terminal. “Great place. Overwhelming for Solo travel”
Staff were very friendly. The pool area is very nice. I would have preferred to travel here in a group as it was a little overwhelming as a solo traveller however still a great place. “Live band & DJ venue!”
Gilligan’s does not cater for the mature age clientele in the resort hotel. You need to be b/n 18 & 40 to stay here. Could be under 45’s. Gilligan’s bar is very busy. Live bands and DJ entertainment. Bar food available. Dance floor area. Pool!!
